Manuel is very Punctual, he provides same day estimates, and his start times and dates are always on par. the jobs are kept tidy and he leaves without a trace.

Manuel and team are truly fantastic . We had an extremely large landscape project with hard scapes ( paths walls , deck, lighting , swing structure, fencing ) and a lot of planting as well. There was great attention to detail , a very polite crew , very easy to communicate to. We had terrible cold rainy weather and they still met schedules and met our needs . We loved the sub contractors as well . Very high quality work . Highly recommend .

Manuel and his team were always working to give us the best result for our yards. They followed the plans but made many constructive, logical and well thought out recommendations to our overall design. Always accessible and willing to discuss the project, we ended with a front and back yard that exceeded even our wildest dreams. The pergola that was installed is stunning. The water wall was creatively installed and stands out in the backyard. Manuel continues to check in to make sure we are satisfied with the results and is working with us to make changes to the planting plan. We have also retained Green & Rock to continue the maintenance (not the gardening) on the yard. We recommend Green & Rock and Manuel Salazar without condition and will retain them again for our next project.

We recently had our backyard remodeled by Green and Rock. Manuel runs a very well organized operation. He came to visit the property, listened carefully to our requests, and quickly came up with a design and estimate for the project. The project was started on time and the crew worked nonstop until the end. The various activities, including a new retaining wall, pergola, kitchen counter, and plants, were coordinated without delay. The workers were very diligent, knowledgeable, and resourceful. They always cleaned up the driveway at the end of the day. They were very accommodating and not as expensive as other larger businesses, while offering great quality work. I would contact Manuel again for any future landscaping job, and would recommend to anyone looking to remodel their front or backyard from scratch.

Manuel and his crew embarked on a large rear yard overhaul for me in 2018. I hired his company to turn my backyard into an easily maintained space that wouldn't sacrifice my desire to have greenery incorporated into a functional yard with entertaining and lounging spaces as focal points. I wanted to add a soaking tub, hardscape, and decking, and of particular interest was taking advantaging of the views from my backyard. The project included working with a landscape designer and Manuel assisted with the project design/development every step of the way. Manuel’s guidance related to materials and recommendations about installation were invaluable to making decisions that supported my overall goals, while keeping budget in mind. His stone work is top notch and the layout for a riverbed and other design elements were met with openness. When changes to design layout were made, he accommodated my requests. Changes to the landscape design that required an increase/decrease in budgeted amounts were always discussed ahead of time, and when requested he puts everything in writing. I really appreciate that aspect of his business approach, as I was always aware of what the project was going to cost. One example is a material upgrade made to the decking installed around the soaking tub. While we initially budgeted for one type of wood, Manuel discussed upgrading to a more sustainable wood that had the benefit of being a ‘harder’ wood that would last longer overall. I’m glad he showed me the difference in the wood materials, as the installed wood is beautiful and the deck is one of the focal pieces of the project. Manuel kept me informed and updated about any issues and always addressed things in a timely manner. This was a large project, with many details to be sorted out before and during installation. While I wish the project hadn’t taken so long, I am thrilled with the final product and it was well worth the wait.

I am a general contractor and have worked with Manuel and his team for the past three years. Since our first encounter I immmediately knew he and his team were the type of fellow trademen I admire and respect. We share the same work ethic and commitment to excellence and don’t settle until both client and contractor are happy.
