Serving North San Diego County since 1986 we are family owned and operated. Our mixed American and French backgrounds have offered to our customers years of our fine craftsmanship in Landscape, Woodworking, and Lighting of Homes, Castles and Monuments. The cultural mix has given us an authenticity in our designs and a totally different approach to management that truly sets us apart from the other Landscape companies. We started our nursery in 1986 on a beautiful 6 acre hilltop near the Lawrence Welk Resort. The following years of Horticulture allowed for the opening of our Landscape division. Today and for the last 30 years we have been contributing toward making San Diego one of the most beautiful places to live in the U.S. with thousands of residential and commercial landscapes accomplished.

I cannot provide a better or stronger recommendation than the one I would give for Franck and his team at Golden Woods. My wife and I have worked with several companies over the past 20 years in many areas - construction, flooring, pools, landscape, hardscape - and we have never been more satisfied or pleased with the work provided than we were with Golden Woods. Their attention to detail, quality of work, consistent communication and genuine desire to make us - their customer - happy was second to none. If you’re looking for the cheapest, fastest, or biggest - don’t bother calling. If you care about working directly with the owners of a reputable company, who employ all of their staff and do not use subcontractors, and who do great work for a FAIR price - pick up the phone. I guarantee you will be grateful that you did.

Denny really knows how to design a landscape. He listened to my ideas and made them work. Of course, he had great suggestions himself. He also worked within my budget. I can't recommend him enough.

Golden Woods has been my go to company for all my nursery and landscaping needs since 2010. Denny Golden is extremely knowledgable and very experienced in developing landscape designs and implementing them to fruition. I have used his company for numerous landscaping needs from cement, irrigation, pavers, plant selection and placement in the landscape design, and Denny even used a small area that was useless to me and made it into a pétanque court using DG as a surface which afforded us many hours of fun and games. He was especially helpful to me when I was selling my home and getting it ready for sale. I highly recommend Golden Woods for ALL your landscaping and nursery needs.
