We were very pleased to have Carved In Stone do the work in our front yard. Stonework, walkway, plantings and garden. Jason was always willing to answer questions and had ideas and suggestions for our front yard plans. He is very creative, professional and hard working as was his crew and we would not hesitate for have them back for our next project or to recommend them to others. The crew always cleaned up after their days work and were a pleasure to work with. Thanks Jason and Kim.

Jason and his team spent their entire summer with us on a backyard project transformation. It was a huge undertaking and we were confident he was the person for the job. CIS did not disappoint. Friendly. Polite. Professional. Jason and his team worked in challenging (and hot!) summer in the city conditions and were always in close communication about the project. They took some of our serious concerns and requests about the previous backyard and made sure to deliver on these very things. We really appreciated their collaborative approach, dedication to the quality of work, and openness to new ideas. We have a small but functional and stunning space that we will enjoy for years to come thanks to Jason and his team. To say it’s an upgrade would be an understatement! Hired Carved in Stone for backyard transformation to construct a pool, concrete surround and cabana. Concrete pour/framing on this project led to problems-water entering cabana. Framing on the cabana was left exposed to the outdoor elements. . I would not recommend this company to my friends.

CIS installed a massive 2 tier retaining wall on our property last year (2 x 9' high x 80' long walls) and they did a tremendous job for us. I couldn't recommend Jason and his team more highly. I had never met Jason prior to this job (he was recommended by a friend) and I can say that we were so impressed that we have hired him to do the rest of our yard this year. Simply put, he's an honest, capable and hard working guy with a crew that's second to none. Don't hesitate to hire them :-)

I contracted with Jason of CIS to complete a front step, and possible driveway. He was very nice and professional. Unforeseen circumstances forced us to delay the project for quite some time. After some unfortunate problems, we were unable to complete the project with Jason. Jason was honorable, contacted me and refunded my deposit. It is much appreciated.

Jason and his team were very knowledgeable. Their attitude was professional. My husbands father passed away the day that the job was to start. And we had to travel out of town and it was comforting when Jason would send us pictures to keep us update on the work. We have had many compliments from people walking by your house this summer.

Moving from a detached home with a pool and large yard to a new smaller space town home is definitely a change; especially, when entertaining and spending time outdoors. My intentions to create a social private area to spend with friends and family was a design / build renovation by Carved in Stone Landscaping. Carved in Stone Landscaping was able to create a back yard meeting my requests for some storage, a hot tub, a bbq / dining area, lounging space as well as ensuring I had a low to no maintenance outdoor area. Their professional team met my budget, timeline and created a back yard I can enjoy seasonally. The design was original, innovative and has enriched the previous "grass -only" space now open and airy. I now have a multi-level outdoor living space and would recommend Carved In Stone Landscaping services.

Carved In Stone has worked on 2 major projects for us.Last year it was a complex project involving redesigning and recreating a significant part of our backyard. It included extensive excavation, creation of a stone veneer faced , concrete retaining wall, limestone coping and wrought iron railing on the wall. As well as installing 5000 square feet of pavers, creating an upper terrace, pool deck and walkways. All related landscaping, LED lighting on the walls and walkway steps. Post lighting was also installed around the pool deck. This project transformed our backyard into the entertaining space we desired. The second project is underway in October 2015. It involves revamping our driveway, removing old materials and installing new pavers and asphalt as well as widening a parking space and moving irrigation and landscaping. In our opinion Jason is responsive, responsible and seeks to deliver the results exactly the way his client wants it. He manages the budget, has excellent project management skills and manages sub trades in a seamless manner. We highly recommend him.

I don't even know where to begin in my praise for Jason. We met at the Burlington Home Show. I wanted all the area around the perimeter of my pool removed and re-done. This included removing all the old interlock and Rubaroc and replacing it with Techo-Bloc pavers. I knew exactly what I wanted but my expectations were not just met, they were exceeded beyond anything I imagined. So, not only was the end result beautiful, the best part was that the work was completed on time and on budget. Jason started when he said he would and always showed up on time. Jason is an absolute professional and perfectionist and to top it all off he is a very engaging and nice young man. This type of commitment to customer service is very rare in todays world. Everyone that has seen our backyard has been overly impressed. I would recommend Carved In Stone to anyone and will go 1 step further and say that any home owner would be fortunate to actually have the pleasure of doing business with Jason and his company. As an added benefit Jason also introduced me to an amazing pool company ( Premier Pool, owner Aaron) who worked in perfect harmony and co-ordination with him to complete everything on time and again, beyond my expectations and my expectations are very high.
