We got Mr. Jesse's from an Advertisement channel to remodel our backyard. During the initial meeting, Mr. Jesse seemed to have knowledge working on such projects. Although Mr. Jesse's estimate far exceeded other contractor's estimates, we decided to go forward with his service. However, the problem started when Mr. Jesse failed to monitor and supervise his workers on the site. Instead of focusing on our project and dedicating time to be present at the site, a reasonable expectation of any homeowner to have the contractor attend and supervise the progress of any projects at all stages in order to deliver the quality of job promised, Mr. Jesse neglected his duties and heavily relied on his workers to do the project, and he only remotely checked on his workers through Face Time. Because of Mr. Jesse's unwillingness to fulfill his duty to manage and oversee the work, my wife and I had to go beyond our way and engage in the day-to-day management of work and look for details Mr. Jesse couldn't see through Face Time. Mr. Jesse would only show up to demand payments. At all times, Mr. Jesse was trying to up-sell us; we never felt that he was being honest with us because he consistently tried to "add things" and charge us extra. However, the most dissatisfying and disappointing part of our experience with Mr. Jesse and the service he rendered comes from the poor quality of work and end results. Not only did Mr. Jesse overlook many details and grossly neglected our project throughout its different phases, the end results were nothing like what he had promised us initially. Sadly, the quality of work is less than industry standards, falling apart, and way below our reasonable expectations. (Cracked freshly poured concrete, peeled what supposed to be stained wood, rusty what supposed to be Powder coating, Pool Coping not being water sealed, trees are dying within less than six month being planted, etc...) After several attempts that we made to request his compliance with our agreement, Mr. Jesse kept demanding to we write him a "good Yelp review" which we refused for the obvious reasons stated above. In addition, when I asked Mr. Jesse to come by for a final walk as promised when we signed the K, he demanded to schedule first a Video shoot with Videographer first , then he would consider having the walk through. We had to seek another contractor at added cost, to identify the root of the poor workmanship in order fix Mr. Jesse's incomplete job I strongly advise every homeowner to be extremely careful with Proscapes and/or Jesse Escalera if they are thinking of using his services. We believe that Mr. Jesse's primary motivation with this project was not to complete the project that we were excited about satisfactorily but to make as much profit as possible.
