John and his team really listened to what we wanted to do with our yard redo and offered good recommendations on changes and additions while still staying true to our vision for our yard. We really enjoyed working with Jorge and Edwardo and team. They were a fun and friendly crew to work with and took good care of us through the process. We are thrilled with the final results. Every time I spend time in the yard, I tell my husband I am so glad we did what we did with the backyard and that it was money well-spent.

We wanted to extend our thanks to you and your team for the gorgeous design and major improvement you made to our back garden. John, the grapes are growing wild just like you said. And the avocado trees are so happy. I would never have thought to plant those where you suggested. Kimberly and John, the design for our slope is SO beautiful. We especially loved the last minute changes of the purple smokebush tree and the grevilia. Both are stunning. We already have hummingbirds and butterflies on the slope. We can’t wait to watch it grow and take shape.

Don’t let the five-star reviews fool you! I'd give negative stars if I could. I hired Mr. Beaudry to design a garden, build an area for my barbeque, replace all my plants, irrigation and lighting. I checked his references. It was the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor. Mr. Beaudry said he was a design-build company. He's not. He subcontracted out the job and marked up the price. The subcontractor he saddled me with was Frank Siragusa of Bella Landscaping. He did a terrible job. John Beaudry never showed up on time for one appointment. He was apathetic and never advocated for me as a client when I had problems with HIS subcontractor. The problems were numerous. It took almost 16 weeks to complete a job that was supposed to take 6 weeks. Siragusa’s team on average showed up about 3 times a week. And it was never a full day. Some days 1 guy showed up for 2 hours. Phone calls and text messages were mostly ignored. I never knew from day to day if someone was going to show up. Siragusa was irresponsible and unprofessional. I made Beaudry aware of this but he said there was nothing he could do because Siragusa was not his employee. Does this make sense when you're a design-build company? Since I didn’t hire Siragusa, I couldn’t fire him. Because of Covid, there were no other landscape contractors available that wanted to clean up someone else’s mess. I was completely stuck. Siragusa hired unskilled, untrained labor. I had to dig up and replant many, many plants that his people planted. I also ended up having to plant a major portion of the plants myself to keep things moving! Plants that I had to buy myself! I also spent endless hours each day cleaning up their mess. Hauling away debris, rocks, dirt, etc. Some of Siragusa’s crew were so rude that I had to tell him not bring them back. If a crew member was polite, many times they just wouldn’t do what was asked. If it was something they didn’t want to do, they simply didn't do it. It didn’t matter if I mentioned it to Beaudry or Siragusa. They did nothing. There was no care put into anything. No pride of workmanship, no customer service, no respect for the customer. There were numerous items specified in the contract that were never done. The things that did get done usually had to be done over because they weren’t’ done properly in the first place. I learned Beaudry Landscape Design violated California state law by collecting more than 50% of the money for my job upfront. State law says a contractor can’t collect more than $1,000 or 10% of the job upfront, whichever is less. I realize this is lengthy. What I've said is just the tip of the iceberg. I'm a knowledgeable gardener and was able to recognize problems as they occurred. I'm also a very proactive individual. But what happens to the person who thinks they're hiring a professional and don’t know they are getting substandard work? That’s why I am writing this review. Again, please don’t let those five-star reviews fool you.

John is one of those rare plant experts with a great eye for design and has true passion for his work. Additionally, he is well-rounded, he's proactive in continuing his own self-development work and best of all, he's a genuine individual with a good heart.

The landscape design very much responded to my desired interests with many distinctive plants that offer a unique appearance with lots of colorful blooms. John Beaudry, the owner, is very conscientious and follows through with his commitment to create a wonderful environment that you will enjoy and be proud of. Once we signed the financial component of the project, I was pleased to find out the project was completed within our agreed upon amount. You can count on John to ensure you are satisfied with the final result!

John Beaudry did an amazing job on the design of our backyard and his crew was excellent at carrying it out! We worked together to implement colors of tiles and plants that we liked and they were very accommodating. I would highly recommend John Beaudry and his team!

We chose Beaudry Landscape because John's vision aligned with ours - a respect for nature. John really listened to what we wanted and built a design that perfectly encompassed that. He wrote up a plan with all the plants and placement detailed and provided pictures of each plant so we could visualize what it would look like. His installation team was very professional also. There were enough people to complete the project in a reasonable period of time. They were very professional and open to answering any questions we had. The whole process was smooth and we now have a beautiful yard that bees, hummingbirds and butterflies and, of course, we love.

After seeing John's beautiful work online, we hired him to transform our yard into something equally as beautiful. John did not disappoint. He took the time to listen and developed a plan that we absolutely love. He was easy to work with and always willing to stop by and offer assistance when needed. John was also very knowledgeable about drought resistant landscape which was important since we were removing all of the turf in our yard. We would not hesitate to hire John again and highly recommend him.

Our yard was in desperate need of an upgrade and after sifting through a dozen designers we luckily came across John's page! He listened to everything we had in mind and let him run with it. He gave us plenty of options and helped us fit out budget. Once we decided on a design, his crew was just as wonderful to work with. Work was done over a short amount of time. Matched the drawings we agreed on, and any issue we brought up was resolved in short order. John's design lead was fun to work with, and gave us a variety of options to help us settle on a final design. John's plant selection and attention to detail was great!
