Avoid Austin Landscaping! We would give them a ZERO if possible. Unreliable and Unprofessional are the 2 takeaways from this review. We wished we had seen and read through the accurate multiple 1-star Yelp reviews prior to reaching out to this company for hire. Our point of contact was Claire. We needed our backyard landscaped but also regular lawn maintenance. Claire came in 1/2022 and quickly put together a large quote for our backyard landscaping. Her idea was good but during this process, her regular lawn guy accidently cracked the tiles on the bottom landing of our front porch. No one notified us! It was only through our security cameras that we determined they were at fault and it was obvious from the footage that they knew they hit it with their commercial walk behind mower. We sent the pictures and video to Claire, who in email, stated they would take care of it and use the footage of her crew for training. She was also quick to tell us to ASAP send in the 50% deposit on the backyard landscaping project. Of course, you would see why we were hesitant to hire them since they were skirting the problem they admitted to causing and had not provided a resolution. Come 8/2022, our porch is still not repaired. All communication and responses with Austin Landscaping (Claire) has completely CEASED…ghosted! Since we have not been able to find any tile matches despite A LOT of effort, we have had to rip up the entire landing and purchase new tile ourselves. Austin Landscaping error has caused us hundreds of dollars and time trying to hire a handyman or tile company that will take on this comparatively smaller project. FYI, any rebuttal/response by Austin Landscaping’s Claire is not trustworthy since her email correspondence has been completely worthless. We ended up hiring a different landscaping company that did an absolutely incredible job, better than we could have imagined. That company did not even ask for any money down!! Trustworthy and Professional is what we got from a different company…NOT from Austin Landscaping! I finally decided to write a review since every single person who has visited our home in the past 6 months comments on the eyesore that Austin Landscaping caused. Any potential new customer needs to be aware of our terrible experience dealing with their poor work ethic!

When I was living in Houston temporarily I needed a company to take care of the house I was renting. I work all the time so I needed it to be a reputable company that was easy and quick to set up service with, would come regularly and that I could pay every month online. They had several lawn care plans for me to choose from and once I set the service up I never had to hassle with the lawn again. If there were any concerns the owner would email me immediately and their crews were local guys that looked clean, wore uniforms, were very friendly and I felt very comfortable with. I set payment up with them through automatic credit card draft so I could easily track my invoices and what I paid them. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to feel like they have a crew they can communicate with and that they feel safe around in a big city that you are new to, this is the company for you.
