Suburban Lawn & Garden

This facility is the relocated site of Suburban’s second store which operated for over 10 years at 135th & State Line Road. In 2002, Suburban moved the historic barn down 135th Street to Wornall Road. The state-of-the-art greenhouse was constructed in just over 2 years, mostly by Suburban employees. At just over an acre, this open-roof structure is now the gateway to 40 acres brimming with fresh plant material. So much more than just a greenhouse or nursery, there is something fun for the whole family. Tour 40 acres of ready-to-plant large trees and shrubs in a golf cart, slide and swing on Creative Playthings playsets, feed the ducks at the pond or munch on popcorn and enjoy the sunshine.
