Palmer Planter Company was established in early 2017 to offer a quality alternative to the run of the mill hardware store plant pots. We offer classic styles, updated versions of long standing favorites and contemporary planters in limited runs and one-of-a kind items. Made with high quality American clay, all of our planters and garden accessories are made in Philadelphia, PA. We operate out of two studios, one in the historic, well traveled section of Philadelphia known as Old City and the second in the historic but much less traveled Brewerytown section of Philadelphia. Palmer Planter Company is a partnership of two sweethearts, Daniel Ricardo Teran and Naomi Cleary. We are potters with uniquely different skills but a shared love of both historical and contemporary pottery. We aim to leave as little footprint as possible and use electricity generated by wind farms in Pennsylvania to fire our kilns. We also use recycled cardboard shipping boxes and paper, and no plastic bubble to pack our pots. However, we do a fantastic job of safely packaging the pieces and guarantee they arrive in tip top shape or we will refund you, 100%, shipping and all. We believe that objects are powerful and that you should carefully surround yourself with only those things that hold meaning and bring comfort.
