just now-Edit We already had one of the Zbar floor lamps from 3 years ago . Bought from a different seller. My husband wanted another one since he loved the one we have so much ! When I checked prices Lightology had the BEST price ever !! Cheaper than 3 yrs ago. The light was ordered Oct 28th and came today Nov 13th. I did have to call and get them to send the tracking number but that wasn't hard at all and Ken Vick LS principal was wonderful and got the info to me in seconds. I'm so glad we bought this lamp from Lightology.

Does not allow returns once you open the box. Purchased $4k worth of lights that are cheaply made and they will not accept a return.

No product support. I need a replacement part for a "Lightology" branded item. Should be a simple request. No response after almost 2 months of repeated contact attempts. Needless to say, my client is livid. You should consider shopping elsewhere for much better customer support.

I ordered a light on 09 May that Lightology said was in stock. They delivered part of the order the three smaller lights but not the large pendant ($1200) that comprised the bulk of the order. I called on May 15 and they said it was the manufacturer they had listed it in stock. When I pointed out that I ordered from them and not the manufacturer they said that their stock list only reflects what the manufacturer tells them. I placed the order with Lightology, despite the same lights being available elsewhere specifically because they listed the items in stock and had the quicker quoted delivery estimate. They said the item would now ship on 30 May. When I called today to ask whether the item had shipped they told me it wasn’t available until 22 June so I cancelled the order. I asked for a confirmation of my cancellation via email - not an unreasonable expectation given payment and email control only 39 seconds- I was told by a Wendy in customer service “I can’t discuss refunds on the phone. “ When I didn’t receive an email confirmation within an hour I called back and after getting customer service again I was transferred back to Wendy. She said she needed confirmation from the manufacturer that they would process my refund. I pointed out that while I appreciated they have internal business practices my order and payment were to Lightology and not to their manufacturer at which point she started shouting that she doesn’t have access to my credit card details and that’s not how refunds work and hung up on me. All I wanted at this point was email confirmation of a refund and cancellation of my order. Their customer service is rude and quick to hide behind processes, they don’t take responsibility for their customers and are not transparent in their dealings - avoid at all costs. Now have no order and no refund or confirmation.

4 weeks after they accepted my return I have yet to receive any confirmation or credit. I would not purchase anything from this company. There are plenty of reputable options so stay clear of Lightology.

One week shipping took 6 weeks. Not a reliable source so had to find a substitute product. Charged me $150 to return the product that they were a month and a half late on delivering. Won't be using or recommending them again

DO NOT USE #lightology — They have no follow-up, no follow-through and no customer service to speak of. We’re having issues with an order placed several months ago. The order was “lost” and supposedly re-shipped but still has not arrived to the receiver. We can’t get the reps to call us back or email us with any information. Such a frustrating experience. We’ve been dealing with issues for over a month. We will not be using lightology again.

They communicate well on the timing for orders and have great customer service as well. It's a pleasure to partner with them.

I'm an interior designer and industry professional who placed thousands of dollars worth of product orders for my clients via Lightology in the last year. To complete a client's Master Bath project, I ordered a set of Sara Double Sconces and a single Sara Sconce, to accompany a prior order, already installed, of the same. When the light fixtures arrived, they were in a satin nickel finish, not a chrome finish as needed. I contacted my sales rep numerous times to remedy the issue and swap the fixtures for the correct finish. Erin dodged my emails and phone calls and finally passed me off to the "customer service" rep. After many repeated attempts at contacting this rep, I was finally advised they would need to process a return on the fixtures in the incorrect finish before they could replace with the correct fixtures. They encouraged me to place a new order for the correct fixtures prior to the return being completed, to expedite the process. In good faith the return/exchange would be processed, I did so - ordering another $2000 in the same product, correct finish. I had to fight for several weeks to maintain communication, and retrieve return labels for the return fixtures. After many emails to the CS Dept and many unreturned phone calls, I was finally was given the labels and prepared the fixtures in the incorrect finish for return. I returned these fixtures via UPS with tracking. Two weeks after the fixtures were returned to Lightology, I still had yet to receive a refund for my orig. $2000+ purchase. I, again, called and no return phone call. I emailed. A couple of days later, I received an email indicating the return could not be processed because the vendor would no longer authorize a return. Lightology is in possession of the $2000+ worth of paid product and refuses a refund. This company is beyond unprofessional, peddling additional sales and promises of exchange and/or refund, only to leave you high and dry, and out thousands. I will never order from Lightology again, and highly encourage any future customers to steer clear of this deceitful company. The absolute worst level of service I have ever encountered.

Zero customer support, would never buy anything from them. My order was in the price range of 10 thousand dollars. Two of my lights stopped working after an hour. tried to get the sales rep on the phone for over a week, I tried the owner, was told he was on personal time and could not call me back, the store manager told me they're to busy to call customers they run their business thru email. Email won't fix my fixtures, I called the manufacture directly and finally started getting answers to get a fix. One of my other fixtures arrived cracked in half, still could not get a return call. My location is less than a mile from their store, I wonder how they do with out of state customers. I have a choice on where we spend our money, they won't get another penny of mine.
