I used to be a corporate Sr. HR Generalist… I thought that was my dream job. You know, have your own office, wear a nice business suit, coach managers on how to manage people, help employees….the thought of it really does seem appealing. However, after seven years of being in the industry and finally being promoted to my dream job, at age 31, I realized that the reality was much different than the dream. Instead of feeling accomplished, I felt completely burnt out! But instead of my story ending there, I believe that was the beginning…. The beginning of discovering who I really am; and for the first time in my entire life, I set aside the “title” and pursued the things that set me on fire, and here we are! Like the beauty of a caterpillar turning into a butterfly, Monarch Home Designs was formed, and today I can honestly say, I have the job of my dreams!!!
