Welcome! My name is Melpo Mankin, and I am The Nashville Stager and owner of Intentional Interiors in Nashville, TN. I am a first-generation Greek-American and relocated to Nashville from Missouri with my amazing husband, Barry, who owns 4 Corners Home Inspections. (We like to think of ourselves as our own unique version of Chip and Joanna!) My staging journey began in 2007 when I was one of the many homeowners across the country trying to sell real estate during the housing market crash. I had staged my home (before I really understood what staging was) and successfully sold it with minimal loss during a time when condos weren't selling at all. I experienced firsthand the power and hope that home staging can provide. Over the years, my career has led me into various roles in marketing and the interior design industry, and staging is the perfect marriage of these skills. I believe It's more than just decorating...it's the intersection of marketing, design and psychology, and my goal as a professional stager is to give potential buyers an experience that makes them feel like your listing could be their future home. As a member of the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA), I wholeheartedly believe in the value of home staging and invested in expanding my training by becoming an Expert Level Staging Design Professional (SDP™). This training is one of the most comprehensive home staging courses in the nation and is accredited by RESA and the International Association of Home Staging Professionals (IAHSP).
