Karson Photography LLC

Karson Photography is a Commercial Photography Company specializing in Architecture, Realestate, Aerial / Drone, Interior Design, Product and Marketing Photography. I never expected my previous careers in real estate and construction to blend so well with my current profession of commercial photography. I come from a real estate family; Grandmother, Father, three siblings, all realtors. I had worked summers in my Father's real estate company when I was a kid and received my SC Realtors license in 1993, assuming I would follow in their footsteps. Later I started working with a local builder/contractor and learned everything I could about architecture and building design, then started purchasing and renovating my own properties. But then, when I was mid-way though my Bachelors degree at the College of Charleston, I took an elective class in photography, fell in love with it and changed course to follow photography as a career. In the sixteen years of managing my own photography studio, I’ve had the pleasure of working with many different organizations and individuals, from editorial publications to craftsman and home builders, helping understand and market their products, stories, properties, and passions. I've had the opportunity to dabble and choose among different areas of focus in my field, but have so often found myself right back where I started, studying and appreciating architecture and design, but this time behind the camera.
