It all started with a little compact camera bought with my pocket money….. Many films were exposed, eventually developing them myself in the darkrooms of Bournemouth Art School and Salisbury College where I gained a diploma in photography. It didn't take long before I was working in Chalk Farm Studios as studio assistant to many established London photographers. Through these connections I was able to continue working as a freelance assistant and learn valuable lessons in editorial, fashion and interior photography. These lessons have been the inspiration behind my own work during my time in London, Australia and Sweden. My recent work has primarily focussed on interiors and portraiture with my love of travel and documentary style photography being a constant source of inspiration. Better not forget to mention my love of live music photography….I get my kicks from playing with the stage lighting and the artist's spontaneity I often favour the manipulation of available light as it adds realism and the subject's personality adds to the depth of the imagery. I currently share my time between London, the south coast of England and Gothenburg, Sweden.
