We contacted Stewart at MBK Design Studio as our old kitchen worktops had deteriorated due to ingress of water in the chipboard core. We visited Stewart at the showroom under Covid social distancing guidelines and discussed all potential options and arranged a subsequent site visit to measure up for the new granite worktops and sink. Stewart provided detailed drawings together with the formal quotation. Two weeks later the 'installation team' arrived and installed the granite tops and the sink. The result was amazing - we were delighted with the result and by the professionalism Stewart and his team showed. I would recommend them for any kitchen project. We have now decided to engage MBK to install flooring in another part of the house.

Stuart and his team at MBK helped us find the best glossy, contemporary kitchen around over 10 years ago, at a third of the cost of the other designer/fitters. We were thoroughly delighted with the design and the excellent workmanship and all the fittings were top marks. Top to bottom. Today the kitchen remains really contemporary and has really stood the test of time. They were also a pivotal part of the process when we re-built our house, involved in the utility room, bathrooms and ground floor. We engaged MBK Design Studio to replace our ageing shower room with a complete removal of the existing and re-build from scratch to install a walk-in shower. Stewart led the Project with the design, detailing, ordering and coordination of the installers. An initial survey to confirm dimensions was all that was required. Computer aid design then followed with 3D details for acceptance forwarded by email. Once agreed detailed estimates for both supply and installation followed. Over a two-week period in January 2020 the works were completed as planned. This included knocking out the old shower wall, existing tiling and vanity unit; re-plastering walls and ceiling; electrical alterations for new recessed lighting and extractor ventilation, plumbing alterations including a new heated towel rail with concealed pipes; full tiling; installing a new Aqualisa Quartz Digital Concealed Shower unit, tray and screen; new vanity unit with washbasin; all plumbing; new vinyl tile flooring. Some excellent recommendations were made during the design stage to enhance our early expectations and ensure we had considered all aspects and needs. Procurement included a shower tray bespoke to the dimensions of the room and all other fitments. The installation team were, self-sufficient, amenable to all our needs and ensured we understood the work being undertaken. Also, all floor coverings to access to the room were protected during the works with removal of all packaging and old fittings / debris on completion. All in all highly recommended as the final high quality product needed no further works to be undertaken, fits our expectations fully and is something we benefit from daily.

Looking for a complete redesign of our kitchen & wanting a company that would project manage the whole thing, we contacted a number of local companies for ideas & quotes. MBK Design Studios was one of these companies & from our initial contact through to the many meetings with Stewart, we were impressed by their friendly & professional approach. Stewart was full of excellent ideas but was always happy to incorporate our suggestions & made it very clear, this was our 'dream' kitchen' & what we wanted we could have. Following the submission of first class 3D plans & agreeing final designs & costs, we appointing MBK to carry out the work & were not disappointed. The quality of the units were first class, all the tradespeople were friendly and the quality of workmanship & finish of our kitchen excellent. MBK & Stewart had truly given us 'A Dream Kitchen', In fact we were so pleased, we have contracted MBK to do a complete refit of our bathroom which should have started in April but due to Covid-19 has been delayed. We have no doubt however that once it is completed, we will be as happy with this as we were with our kitchen.

MBK redesign our kitchen and installed it. It was a complete refit and all aspects covered,the liason between us was excellent. Once we agreed on everything a start date was given the project went like clockwork and finished on time.

We recently purchased a brand new kitchen for our house extension. Living in an extended family, the kitchen needed to suit all types of cooking and have plenty of space to prepare. From the moment we met with Stewart, he understood exactly what we wanted. Stewart took a great deal of time to find out exactly how we would use our kitchen, he suggested some fantastic ideas and was easy to work with. Stewart's enthusiasm for and understanding of an unconventional project was really appreciated and we now have a kitchen that meets all our expectations from aesthetic and practical viewpoint. We personally love how we can empty the dishwasher and put the dishes away in the drawer without moving a step. Stewart was able to offer bespoke options to our kitchen breakfast area with open shelving, an area for the toaster and combining a hot tap and small sink, all hidden away with bifolding doors. The level of service and quality of product is second to none. His professionalism, advice, experience and attention to detail are excellent. The installers arrived on the appointed start date and their craftsmanship was first rate, nothing was too much trouble. We couldn’t be more thrilled with our kitchen and the overall experience and dealings with Stewart and the team at MBK. The finished kitchen is simply wonderful and I would recommend MBK to anyone wanting a truly functional and beautiful kitchen.

We first used this company in 2009 for a complete kitchen refurbishment, and then were not hesitant in using them again for our bathroom as well. Really pleased with our kitchen make over. We weren't pressurised to change everything in the kitchen but transformation was amazing with new door fronts and beautiful worktops.

Stuart designed a kitchen for the renovation of my Oast House. He also designed 4 bathrooms and a steam room. His design and advice was truly amazing and nothing was to much trouble.( I can be very indecisive to say the least) but however many times I contacted him, he always took the time to talk me through my worries, and visited to show me how things were going to work. An amazing service from a very helpful professional gentlemen.

Used MBK for the first time in March 2018 when we wanted our en-suite updated. Stewart proved to be very knowledgeable and helpful in the design and once the pricing was agreed he arranged the installation. Excellent work undertaken with the fitters polite, timely and professional. All completed on time even allowing for the snow! Extremely pleased with the result and have recommended MBK to a family member for a bathroom refit.

Stewart and his team recently helped me with implementing refurbishment of a very tired village hall kitchen. He was so professional from start to finish and full of sensible ideas of what we could do within our budget. He gave very good advice on where to look for our appliances, and indeed I managed to source four pieces of equipment for an exceedingly good price thanks to that advice. The design that he created for the kitchen was very practical and it fitted in well with what I had in mind. Just a couple of tweaks and we were ready to go. Timing at the hall was important as we only had access for a week at half term when pre school were on holiday. Stewart’s fitter was again, very professional and demolished the old kitchen, removing all the mess and even finding homes for the temperamental old cooker and the massive ‘abattoir’ sized double sink. All the electrical equipment had been delivered to my home and on the week of installation Stewart popped up to collect it all. The electrical work and the plumbing were all fitted in around the fitter and the three trades worked well together. And at the end of the week, we had a wonderful new kitchen at an incredibly good price. We painted the walls ourselves, from yuk yellow, to smart white, to match the new white cupboards and with the grey aluminium splash back all round it certainly is a bit of a show stopper to everyone that comes into the hall. I had an excellent service from MBK, when I was on the rebound from a disaster with another company. Stewart and his team were really responsive and organised. The installation went smoothly with a very good team who knew what they were doing, and who couldn't have been more helpful. The shower is really great: I use it each morning and it sets me up for the day.

We used MBK to design and supply our kitchen, two bathrooms and ground floor w.c. and were particularly impressed with the "can do" attitude to design which we were unable to get anywhere else. Although we used our own fitter and plumber, the design work and the equipment supplied were all of the highest quality and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this firm.

We had our bathroom stripped out and replaced at the end of last year. We are very pleased with the results. The planning was excellent, just as we envisaged it and the work was carried out efficiently and in the projected time scale.

MBK has undertaken several 2 kitchen refits and 3 bathrooms for me. I have found their design work is both imaginative and practical, their work has been excellent and after sales service very responsive. We chose MBK after several hours of browsing the web. What an excellent choice it turned out be. Stewart came to the house to discuss a complete bathroom refit. He suggested various items like a digital shower that we never thought of. Within a couple of days we received detailed drawings showing different layouts. We arranged a meeting with him to finalise what layout that we wanted to have. Stewart ordered all ot the items. His installation team were excellent, professional, friendly and most importantly, very skilled. Needless to say we are extremely delighted with the end result.

Very pleased with the personal and professional service and the quality kitchen units, I am a retired company owner and director of a kitchen and showroom company in the high street Tunbridge Wells ( Charisma kitchens ) now not trading, I ran a team of fitters and was given MBK Design Studio's name by someone in the trade, being an ex fitter myself I was very happy with the units I chose ( Ashley Anne made in Scotland ) They are ready made up with solid backs and some very nice touches which makes life easy for the fitter and improves the overall quality.

We had our kitchen done and were very impressed with how much help and guidance we received when choosing our design. Nothing was too much trouble, the fitters were excellent very tidy and trustworthy. We commissioned MBK for several major home improvement projects over the past 12 years and have found that Stewart and his team have always been exceptional in translating our concepts into practical high-quality designs.
