IST Granite

I just had my old granite removed and new quartz countertops installed last week and I couldn’t be happier! IST was such a pleasure to work with. I used them years ago for my fireplace and they were so nice I thought I’d give them a shot at my kitchen. After going to a few other places, I felt most comfortable here. They had such a wide selection of quartz and were so attentive at all my appointments. I was worried about damage being done to my painted cabinents, as well as wallpaper that I had throughout my kitchen. They were so careful with demolition and installation, nothing was tampered with. I have done lots of renovations to my home and I am very particular with who I use (since I notice every little detail of everything) and these guys don’t disappoint. I can’t recommend them enough! Thank you!!

Where to start? IST has been great to deal with from start to finish. Cindy was always very kind and helpful to explain everything each time I visited. Always felt welcome. Scheduling measurements and countertop delivery was flawless, they were very flexible accommodating my needs, and the countertops (especially the island) look breathtaking. Mel and his son came to install, they worked very hard, and were very helpful for any additional requests I’ve had. Thank you so much!

We purchased granite counter tops from the seller. Upon the templating process, Aaron assured us that our support brackets were sufficient and that their craftsmanship and cleanliness were exceptional. When the installers came almost two hours late with the countertops, they managed to damage two of my walls which will require repair and repaint. They had to cut and polish the granite to get a proper fit which left dust throughout the house and then decided that the support brackets were not sufficient and they only had one bracket on the truck as they are special order. I asked the installer why Aaron would tell me the brackets I had were sufficient and the installer said "Aaron doesn't know anything". So they left my countertop overhang propped up by three 2x4's which scuffed the floors. They left and told me it was my problem to figure out and my responsibility to repair the damage to the walls and floors. Also, the seams are terrible. Now I have to hire someone to finish the job and repair the damage. After my wife called several times, Aaron finally got on the phone and berated her and then called me a liar. He also told her that we bought cheap granite. I'm sorry that the color we liked happen to be their lower priced product. I'm sure he'll respond to this with "kind words" to save face or maybe just call me a liar, but I recommend to NOT do business with this company. There are other companies in the area to choose from.
