My experience with Cutting Edge Countertops has been quite a disappointment. Their installers did an abysmal job and even made a mistake in cutting one of the quartz pieces which caused a delay in installation. They left a huge mess in my kitchen and outside. They did a horrific hack job in cutting out the custom support for one of our islands . They had no template for cutting out the hole for the sink they were supposed to install. The manager, David S., told me I should not worry because the countertop would hide their bad cutout job. I have a beautiful old mansion that I am renovating and I take pride in making sure that both the inside, underside and outside of my cabinets look beautiful. I was taken aback by their lack of compassion and respect for my place. It was like telling me that I should not worry if they installed bad rusty pipes and old hoses in my vintage classic Mercedes car because when I closed the hood no one would see the flaws. I asked for them to make it right through either a discount or working with me to give me a tabletop using the damaged now remnant piece from their shoddy work and the manager flat out said no. They also rushed their work and in less than 2 weeks, the island countertop was loose and shifted when a guest of mine leaned on it. The countertop moved more than 1.5 inches. I believe they did not install the countertop safely and securely. If you value quality work and craftsmanship do not expect to get that kind of service from this company. They want your money upfront before they perform and install the countertops. They do not provide quality work.

My experience with Cutting Edge Countertops has been quite a disappointment. I do not recommend them especially for any large custom work on an estate home.Their installers did an abysmal and sloppy job. Cutting Edge Countertops even made a mistake in measuring and fabricating one of the quartz pieces which caused another delay in installation. They left a huge mess in my kitchen and outside. They did a horrific hack job in cutting out the custom support for one of our islands. They had no template for cutting out the hole for the sink they were supposed to install. They did not measure one of my pieces correctly and made a poor cut onsite so they had to take it back to get re-fabricated and caused yet another 2 weeks delay. They also rushed their work and left one of my island pieces unleveled and I alerted the management about this but they refused to acknowledge it. In less than 2 weeks, that same island countertop of concern was loose and shifted when a guest of mine leaned on it. The countertop moved more than 1.5 inches. Cutting Edge Countertops did not install the island countertop correctly, safely and securely. When they are onsite, they do not look at the job holistically and notify you about any issues. On their second visit to install, the workers did not call out and suggest that the supporting top to be trimmed back a few inches. The installers placed and glued a quartz countertop section but allowed the underlying support to show. I had to spend additional time and money to correct and trim back the wood support so that it would not show. This unnecessary work could have been avoided if their installers had enough intelligence to see this and simply ask to trim back to ensure a good and beautiful end result. If you value quality work and craftsmanship do not expect to get that kind of service from this company. Their sales manager, David S., told me I should not worry about the bad cutting job their workers did because the countertop would hide their hack job. I have a beautiful old mansion that I am renovating and I take pride in making sure that the craftsmanship from the inside, underside and outside of my cabinets and kitchen look beautiful. I was taken aback by their lack of empathy and respect for my home. It was like telling me that I should not worry if they installed bad rusty pipes and old hoses in my vintage classic Mercedes car because when I closed the hood no one would see the flaws. I asked for them to make it right through either a discount or working with me to give me a tabletop using the damaged now remnant piece from their shoddy work. The manager flat out said no. Cutting Edge Countertops want your money upfront before they perform and install the countertops. They will attempt to fix an issue but they will not go above and beyond to make you a satisfied customer. They do not provide quality work. Again I stress do not work with this company save yourself headache and stress stay away from this company.

Installed countertops in our second bath and in our laundry room. Product and fit was okay, but scarred up the walls in our laundry room...and didn’t even bother to tell us. I’ve spent hours cleaning up their mess. Lots of good providers....I’d go elsewhere

As first time quartz counter top owners, we were not made aware of the discolorations and spots that occur with quartz. We chose a beautiful sample and expected our countertop to match it. When it was installed, there were some large splotches and a very dark quarter sized black spot on the counter top. When questioned, they sent someone out who took pictures to submit (pass the buck) to Hans Quartz Warranty Dept. Hans Quartz said that the spots did not meet their warranty requirements and that the encourage the fabricators (Cutting Edge) to show full slabs to their customers to ensure that they are aware of the possible discolorations and spots that can occur. When I asked the contact person from Cutting Edge why I wasn't shown a full slab, his reply was that they don't do that anymore because quartz has become more consistent. He said that he could drill the spot out at my cost and "fix" it, but that I would not be happy with the end result. I was told that my expectations were unrealistic. I assure you that no one from Hans Quartz or Cutting Edge would put counter tops in their showrooms, samples, or own houses with these large splotches and a random dark black spot on the island. My expectations were not unrealistic. I expected it to look like the sample!

Every experience was great until the day of measurement that I was told for the first time, that there will be a seem on the countertop, but I was told, “don’t worry, you will not see it” as he explained that quartz countertop is different that granite and therefore they will fix it the way that you will not see the seam.
I was not home when they installed it, my husband was, but later I saw a clearly noticeable gap. I informed the company of the gap. They made an appointment for someone to come and inspect it a couple of weeks later. He came and said that “this joint meets their standard” and therefore they will NOT do anything about the joint! WOW!
Then, I received a call from someone in the company stating he is the manager who told me that their measurement personnel did not tell me that seam will not be seen….WOW! Does this company go around telling their customers one thing and then denying it?
If leaving the gap in joints is their standard practice, then they DO need to tell the customer prior to the purchase!
I waited to write this review giving the company enough time to respond before writing it, in hopes of a resolution from their higher up, but one after another of them repeated the same story as if they were reading it out of book. The bottom line is that they lied to me and they did NOT take any responsibility for their bad work. I WILL NOT EVER BUY FROM THEM and WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM.

I placed an order for quartz countertop $4400. First of all cutting edge countertops did not let me see the slab since according to this business you can see any slab except quartz. Cutting edge installed our countertops on 8/19/2020. A few days later I noticed that they installed the wrong quartz countertop. I purchased Stonemark quartz and color was Calacatta Vicenza with Matte Finish. Instead Cutting edge installed Belenco quartz and color was 6114 Belluno. There’s also website markings all over my countertop. I called Shelby and she insisted that this was the right quartz. She said the reason it was a different product was because the name changes between companies due to naming rights. Beware this company sells you a product and they manufacture whatever they want. Cutting countertop also fail to install my countertop properly. The countertop has a series of deficiencies such as: website markings, damages, marks, several gaps between the countertop and the wall, and the countertop is not proportional (ex. the right side appears to be smaller. Store schedule an appointment to look at my countertop but they send Justin to remove the website markings. They were not going to fix anything else. I called Shelby and told her that removing the belenco brand was not going to fix my countertop. Then I received an email that I had already signed the contract at the day of installation and that they were not going to fix anything.

Thank you for contacting us. Home Depot carefully reviewed and investigated your concerns, and as previously communicated through them, it was determined the countertop color chosen at the time of the sale was indeed installed correctly and signed off on at the time of completion. A site visit was scheduled for 9/22/2020, of which you declined. Home Depot has notified you and should be contacted if their decision does not meet your expectations.

We had granite countertops installed and are very unhappy. The template was designed without seams around our undermount sink. However, the install was done with 4 seams around the sink. (Two in front and two in back.) We have tried multiple times to communicate with Hannah, and she has not responded to our messages

Ordered and paid for countertops June 3 was to to call when cabinets were installed I called July 9 told them cabinets were here and was told I will give you week to install and we will set up countertop measurements for July 16. I said ok. Called Monday July 16 was told someone will call in a day or 2 didn't hear back so called Thur 7/19 was told they were waiting for me to call and say they were installed. I said they have been said someone would call in a day call person at box store I was working with on Monday 7/23 when didn't here from countertop place and finally countertop place called and set up "earliest"date to measure for Aug 6. Came and measured Aug 6 (man who came out was great ) said they would be installed Aug 13 get call Aug 13 to set up time to install and earliest would be 8/30 ( mind you they should be installed today 8/13). They keep passing the buck blaming someone somewhere for dropping the ball. I have been without a functional kitchen since June 2 countertop should have been here 7/16 to measure I have been more than understanding and gracious about the whole situation but enough is enough not to mention waisted vacation time to be here for people and they don't show up I'm at a loss I need to be compensated and who is next to contact? Better business bureau?!

Thank you, David! We appreciate your kind words and your business. Enjoy your new countertops!
Be careful! They only warranty their installation of plumbing fixtures for 7 days! HAHAHAHA! One whole week! Nothing screams quality workmanship like a ONE WEEK warranty! And they have the cajones to tell you that is 4 days better than the industry standard! HAHAHAHA!

What a disappointment Cutting Edge proved to be for my husband and me. We are currently remodeling both of our second floor bathrooms which included new countertops and sinks. Installation was scheduled for yesterday, late Friday, afternoon. Our contractor was planning on staying to hook up at least one of the four sinks. However, Cutting Edge did not show up until 4:40 P.M. Let's face it, this is quitting time on a Friday afternoon. What was claimed to be an hour to hour and a half job turned out to be a three and a half hour job with the workers leaving at 8:15 P,M, on a Friday evening. Needless to say, my husband and I have four non-functioning sinks for the weekend which is a real inconvenience for us. Obviously, this was a poor scheduling issue on behalf of Cutting Edge. While the scheduler, Tiffany, is enjoying a wonderful weekend, we are without water in both of our upstairs bathrooms.
On the other hand, the installers themselves were fantastic! Thanks Nick and Aaron!
