Why we chose WPL again and again and again... Until we started working with WPL we were never fully satisfied with the 'end product' of our projects. Our homes were complete-but never close to budget or on time, and during the process we would lose our excitement and enthusiasm only to be replaced by a feeling of 'just wanting to get through'. Building a home is one of life's major undertakings, or in our case, one we have repeated many times, but it wasn't until we started working with WPL that we have been ecstatic with our finished projects. Happy not only with the end product, but with the unique opportunity to work with the same team from design -through construction-to move-in. This streamlining not only provides continuity (which saves time and money) but efficient and effective timelines, budgets and expectations as the process is controlled by a few capable hands-with a full understanding of the scope of the project. We have discovered over many builds and renovations that finding the right design group and builder are two of the most important factors in getting what you want in a home. We were so lucky to be working with WPL who can provide us with both of these crucial elements. The project becomes one continuous process that you can easily skip forward and back in any meeting to determine any facet of the project; furniture placement and art walls and then seamlessly back to pool design and electrical plans-or whatever is needed. WPL's ability to control the process from start to finish assures that any questions you have can be discussed and resolved at any meeting, or can be answered by the next meeting. Everything flows from the relationship and understanding you establish with your design team, and the wish list of your very specific wants and needs. For us, there has to be professionalism, a successful track record of creating unique and beautiful 'one of a kind' projects, and open communication with clear, timely and transparent flow of information. The team has to provide inspiring vision, but also allow it to be tempered by the comfort level of their clients. WPL are masters at this and we have felt fully supported and guided in each project we have worked on with them. As we are finishing our summer home and are at the pre-construction phase of our city home, we feel completely comfortable that the process we have embarked on with WPL will be highly successful and we are already excited about the start of construction and feel privileged to be clients and friends of Matt and Rosanne-who are WPL. I have had the distinct pleasure of working with WPL on many occasions, both in the design aspect as well as the technical aspect of approx. 20 custom homes. Each home was unique, thoughtfully layed out, and designed with an eye for immaculate detail. WPL's continued desire to push the envelope of design is impressive to say the least, with each design exploring further into the Architectural landscape than the last.
