I have been designing, building, and remodeling homes, primarily in Paradise Valley, for nearly 20 years. With a broad knowledge of architecture, an engineering background, an education in production management, and extensive “hands-on” experience, I am able to take a integrated approach. We are not a large company, we are a “boutique” operation, focused geographically and on a limited number of projects. This focus allows me to visit my projects daily and communicate with my customers frequently. My employees are involved in the process and actually perform a substantial amount of the construction. My subcontractors are tried and true, not this month’s lowest bidder, in fact many have been with me since I started. As a designer, I begin with a fundamental understanding of the site and the environment; I am especially versed in hillside design. I listen to the customer’s needs and wants and help them to derive a budget appropriate to their project. I am familiar with most all architectural styles and am experienced at incorporating features and functions while maintaining a consistent and authentic design theme. I can offer my experience and advice, but I never forget that it is your custom home. As a builder, I begin with the best overall method, masonry and incorporate only the best, real materials. I have a natural affinity for construction and at some point, have performed literally every task needed in the construction of a house, in fact, I am a journeyman carpenter. It is this experience that enables me to build houses that will stand the test of time, both stylistically and functionally.
