Thrive designed and built a drainage system around my tennis court to keep water from getting under the court and causing cracks. The Thrive team were easy to work with, made changes to the job as it progressed and were extremely professional. I would recommend them to anyone dealing with water issues.

Great overall experience with Thrive completing our backyard landscaping job in Cherry Creek North. Peter met with us three times to discuss and adapt our landscape plan before we selected Thrive. We found him likeable, straight forward and very collaborative. Once contracted, the Thrive team executed the job to plan, and have been responsive to post-job follow up. They do what they say they are going to do.

After a couple of false starts with other landscape and design companies (large and small) I was fortunate enough to find Thrive. Peter and his crew run a great mid size firm that is large enough to handle a full scale over-haul of your needs (boulder design is one of their specialties) but small enough to maintain a high level of "attention to detail" at a fair price. They strive to maintain excellent customer satisfaction and a continued working relationship.

We had a huge (and very overwhelming) job with limited budget. Peter and Trevor worked with us to develop a design plan with multiple phases. For the first phase, the crew demo'd our (snake pit) yard, leveled it, installed irrigation, and put down sod. We now have a yard that our kids and dog can actually play in. Next phase will be the fun stuff with landscaping and plantings, but we couldn't be happier with the results so far. The crew was fantastic as well -- professional, responsive and trustworthy. Peter has also been super helpful with providing guidance about things we can do our own to continue to build on the progress so far. We are in a high traffic area in our neighborhood and receive a lot of compliments from our neighbors about the transformation. We'd recommend Thrive without reservation!

Ours was a complex project which evolved along the way, but Thrive made the necessary adjustments and overcame all obstacles. Very pleased with the finished product and reasonable pricing. Peter's subs and crew were diligent and experienced craftsmen.

The guys at Thrive made my dream of a yard that has all of the things- planters, fire pit, built in seating, deck, stone patio, modern fencing, new concrete, low maintenance landscaping with drip system and artificial turf- come true. Our front yard landscape project turned out beautiful! Great job from start to finish. Project included concrete drive expansion, full landscape design and install, stonework, grading, and under ground drainage. Followed all COVID recommended guidelines.

Peter and his team were great to work with. Peter was easy to get in contact with, he showed up on time and was always where he said he was going to be when he said he would be there. He managed expectations about timeline and costs and most important of all - the work was excellent. I came to Peter with a complex landscape plan on a steep grade up in the mountains that required a lot of drainage and retention. Peter worked with me to discuss details and options for each aspect of the plan. He was available for creative problem solving along the way as the expected “unexpected” occurred. Peter did not promise me he would be the least expensive option but he brought top quality materials and customer service to bear that made paying a little more well worth it. I’ve worked with a lot of contractors and Peter was by far one of the best experiences I’ve had.

We are very happy with the results of the completed project. They worked from a landscape architect's plan and suggested several improvements that we like. Everyone who worked on the project was very professional and respectful and answered all of our questions. The project was completed on budget and neighbors say it looks beautiful.

How many companies would answer a desperate woman's harassing phone call demanding they work for her? ;) Yes, normally I am more polished... but after I saw the work that was done on my best friend's backyard, I was going to get what I wanted, and what I wanted was their expertise and team. I called Peter nonstop until he said yes; he would move mountains to work me into this already packed schedule he promised. I was out of town for weeks during this beginning dance and still he came by to look at the property and we chatted over the phone of what I wanted, what was a pipe dream, and what he could deliver inside of that. I'm on a 1/4 acre with zero love having been given to the yard over the past 5 years (of the 10 total) I have lived here. I needed my backyard leveled (I had 4 - 50 year cottonwood's removed the year prior), I had new window wells going in so I needed things brought up level on the house side too, and I also needed sprinklers if I was ever going to get grass back. Trevor's crew can manage that little backhoe crawler machine, let me tell you! I had one of those trees as 'decoration' laying in the backyard and it was like a scene from a TV show moving furniture as I waved my arms left or right as this machine lifted up the tree trunk to put it in the exact spot I wanted it for my kid's to play on. The rest of the crew demolished the backyard as they ran 12 different lines and a multitude of sprinkler heads to my backyard and front yard to finally give my poor yard the water it so desperately needs. They were on time, and quick to respond. They left the place in better shape than they found it! I truly enjoyed work with them!

We had an enjoyable experience from start to finish. To start, it was the Houzz community where I first found Thrive, and there's a reason why they are so highly rated. Thrive was a great partner during the design phase, and execution couldn't have been easier or gone more smoothly. Cost estimates were clear and transparent, and actual charges were fair and also transparent. Communication throughout the entire process was great! My only suggestion for future clients is to start early - Thrive is highly sought after so you can never start too early. We started the design process in early January and construction began in late July. Once on site the team was quick and clean. The Thrive team provides quality workmanship and clearly prides themselves on their craft.

We were looking to have some regrading done on our back yard and sought out companies to do the excavation and build a retaining wall. Thrive showed up with creative ideas that out shined the rest of the companies we talked to. Thrive built us a natural and beautiful patio, walkways, and retaining wall. If we had more budget to have the company do all of our landscaping as well, we would!! Even though Thrive isn't doing the lawn and plant life (we are going to slowly do it ourselves), Peter has been awesome about giving us advice on trees, shrubs, and other plant ideas. I'm so happy we chose Thrive!

I highly recommend Thrive Landscape and Design to anyone who needs their expertise. They are very professional, punctual, thorough, neat, do exactly as you ask and came in under budget. My entire yard was covered with Juniper bushes that had been here for many years. The Junipers are GONE and a lovely split rail fence, brick wall and garden with perennial flowers are in their place. Peter Chivers and his team at Thrive Landscape and Design did an excellent job executing the renovation of a front yard landscape project in Ken Caryl, including site retaining walls with stone veneer, native boulders, stairs, and a new entry drive. As a landscape architect, I often prepare drawings for landscape contractors that are design/build, meaning, the drawings require some interpretation by the contractor, as not every detail is drawn or specified. Peter was very easy to work with, he and his team were open to my suggested adjustments to the details of the work as it progressed, and the result is a very happy client!

We hired Thrive to completely redo our large, sloped backyard. We chose them because they had a very creative design for the project and we felt their company could implement the design well. We were not disappointed! They did a tremendous job with the project. The design was implemented beautifully, with the boulder retaining walls, pathways, stone steps, lawn area, patios and plantings done perfectly. Any problems were addressed and corrected immediately. Their crew was great to have working at my house, all honest and hardworking. Peter and Trevor did an amazing job with our project, from the planning stage through to the finish. Peter and his crew transformed our front and back yards. The sea of blue Salvia and natural stone steps look amazing and get daily compliments from the people walking by. Thrive just completed a project at my home - stone steps, retaining wall, patio, and walkway. They did a great job, and their pricing was much better than competitors. Peter communicated with us throughout the project, everything went exactly as they promised. Strongly recommend.

We gave Peter and Trevor a set of detailed plans for a stone patio (having 2 radial paver floor designs, 2 walls with capstone, and a seating area), a pergola, and LED stair lighting. Upon completion of patio, we smothered them with more plans for plants, trees, paths and irrigation. We couldn't be more pleased with the final product. The patio and pergola are exactly as envisioned. The landscaping was installed in just 2 days! Despite the seemingly endless minor changes and additions along the way, Peter and his team kept pace with the adjustments and provided timely budget updates. They were fun to work with too. Peter Chivers' artistic vision of what our fence/landscape could be was brilliant. He, Trevor and his team were excited about our project and did superb work. This group of men are amazing in their competence and attitude! We have used them for several smaller projects that included refurbishing most of our landscaped areas and additionally snow removal during the entire past winter. We hired Thrive Landscape and Design to design and create a formal garden and landscape to accompany our new home that we built last year in Cherry Creek. Working with Peter and Trevor and the crew was pleasant and their team met all of our expectations. Thrive's unique deign process included 3D modeling and other imagery that helped us to make well-informed decisions before they began the landscape construction phase for our project. The landscape lighting that we chose looks beautiful and our front entryway, columns, pathway, plantings, and seatwall turned out exactly how we had hoped. Thrive's ability to acquire and plant twelve fully-mature emerald green arborvitaes upon our request was impressive. The arborvitae's are perfect for our needs and we are planning on planting twelve more. Trevor and Peter will continue to be our landscape architects as we plan on hiring them to implement a water feature and several more plantings this Spring.

Peter and Trevor have been reliable, competent, and responsive in all aspects of my contract with them for snow removal. I have not had to worry one time as to whether they would show up. This crew is professional and come with cheer, ready to go to work. I would recommend them to do any type of work. Their landscaping is also beautiful and reliable.

Thrive supported our "sweat equity" efforts with manpower and equipment far beyond what typical homeowners have. Our project was small and Peter worked us in which helped us greatly. He was willing to work within our budget and completed the work on-time. The crew was very professional and we would use them again.

Although we new our budget, we wanted a firm to be creative with our space - our entire back yard that looks out on to beautiful open space, with tiering and drainage issues. We received 3 bids. We chose Thrive as they were excited about our project, worked within our budget and timeframe, and thought out of the box. Why we would recommend them is they carried through on all of our expectations. We had some challenges - weather related; however, Peter and his crew never left us in the dark. Always updating us on challenges, timelines and cost revisions. Peter or Trevor were always onsite with their crew and did a great job of managing expectations. A year later we are thrilled with our project, and we received an unexpected followup from Peter recently checking in on us and reminding us of our warranty. To us, that is work backed up!

Design a change to the chaotic entrance to our home, plan for a change to the patio and front of the house ( used to be hot and geometric brick over concrete). Remove about 300 sq feet of thick asphalt in parking area. Got rid of ancient overgrown fitters. Design and build privacy fence. Design new entry using ok'd pergola materials and old barn wood, design very cool gate and put it all together. Oh and the old pergola was falling down so removed it and patio and put in new more curved organic looking stuff

After meeting Peter, we hired Thrive for a large, stylish planter in front of our newly constructed home. His team did such a great job on the design and construction that we then added a pergola and extended patio in our back yard. Peter also did a variety of other projects for us, including some fence updates, a mini-porch (so cool!) and planting of trees and scrubs. Peter and his team are great to work with, listen well to feedback, and are great communicators. I love to do remodeling projects but since this house was newly built, I got to have fun with the outdoor spaces. Peter is by far the best contractor I have ever worked with (and really, I've worked with a lot of them...) and I would highly recommend Thrive to anyone! If only they did basements too...

We had a very outdated and environmentally unfriendly landscape around the 3acre site of our 1980s southwest run style berm home. Concrete with a very formal ugly brick pattern in front of our south-facing solar energy source, and asphalt paving (UGH!) everywhere else. It made the house hot in summer and ugly. The house also needed an entrance, as there was not an obvious one. Peter Chivers and his crew put together a plan with us to start to " remediate" the site. Peter's taste and ours I think really fit. He designed a fabulous new southwestern entry, even scrounged around and found a very cool old hand hewn beam for the header. There's more work to be done with plants and the landscape, and we'll be working with them again next year. You should know that Peter is a perfectionist and as with the really good people, sometimes things take longer than you think. We didn't push, but if we had I think it would probably be ready for pictures. We'll put some up as soon as we can!
