I met Shaun in March 2023, when he came to give the dilapidated house I was thinking of buying a builder’s once over. We seemed to get on immediately. I was particularly impressed by his willingness to share the work with me. Most builders don’t want their clients joining in the work! I contracted with him to do a big chunk of “major works”: ripping out the old bathroom and putting in a new one; converting a previous window into French doors; putting in all the pipe-work, drainage, etc to make the previous dining room into a kitchen; replacing the lethal gas boiler and all the radiators; partially rewiring the house to bring it up to safety requirements and cater for the new use of the rooms. So, a lot of major and very varied work. I’ve always hankered after a beautiful bathroom and have had several botched efforts to depress me over my years interacting with building trades at various properties. So, I have to say I’m still pretty starry-eyed: full of joy every time I walk into it in the morning. The job turned out to be much more complex than we at first thought, as most of the floor and parts of the joists had to be replaced. This obviously took this part of the project over-budget for Shaun, and I feel he protected me from much of the extra cost. All the work mentioned in paragraph 2 was completed on time and without any major increase in cost over the original quote. All his tradespeople were efficient, polite and friendly, and (as a decidedly elderly single woman) I was glad to always feel in safe hands. Shaun had told me that after the original contracted work was done he would not have much more time to help me out as he had other clients booked in over the summer, but promised to do what he could if free days came up. We have continued to work together over the last few months, as and when he has had free days. And now, a year after buying the house, it is nearly a finished home. Working with Shaun has been an all-round good experience. One of my daughters commented, “I’m surprised you’ve managed to work with a builder for a year without wanting to kill him!” On the contrary, I now consider him a friend.

I have known the girls from The Tap End for many years now. I have just received an invite to their 5 year anniversary party at the showroom and I am so happy that a bathroom company like this is in our local area. They have the design flair of the London showrooms but the friendly customer service we all love in Wales! Would only recommend The Tap End if you are looking for a bathroom, there is no one better in the area!

Shaun and his team are a joy to work with. From start to finish they provide the right mix of inspiration, practical advice, excellent product choices, experience and support. We wanted a bespoke kitchen, because of our very specific design ideas. Shaun was able take our ideas, work with us to adjust, look at options and then visualise them. The choices of finish, worktops, taps, sinks, handles, tiles etc seems overwhelming, but Shaun guided us through them, so that they all compliment each other to achieve a kitchen beyond our original design. The fitting team is second to none, so professional. Our great kitchen could have been ruined at this stage, but Shaun's recommendations of fitters and tiler finished it off. We needed our bathroom completely re worked. Its a small, rectangular shape which wasn't very well laid out. We went to Shaun with the basics of what we wanted, which was pretty vague, and what Shaun produced was amazing. His design has made our bathroom look bigger, brighter and we got our much wanted bath. He was professional throughout with his advice about what would and wouldn't work. We knew we wanted a tiled feature wall that was individual and colourful. Thanks to Shaun's guidance we were able to find precisely what we wanted. Shaun has a great eye for what goes together which has made our bathroom unique and one of our favourite rooms in our flat. The work was carried out efficiently and to a high standard. They worked their schedule around ours which was really helpful and all work was finished on time. We cant wait to show off our bathroom to visitors. We're so glad we used Shaun to create our now brilliant bathroom. It has given life to what was a drab, functional room. We will definitely recommend Shaun to our friends and use him for any future projects we have.

I recently had a Bathroom designed and fitted by Home Solutions.The fitting,workmanship and products were were all to a high standard. We knew our 30 year old kitchen was in urgent need of an update, but the thought of all the upheaval this would involve resulted in inertia on our part. However, following a visit to Home Solutions to discuss our ideas with Shaun, we felt sufficiently reassured by his professionalism and depth of knowledge to ask him to undertake the remodeling of our kitchen. Work commenced on schedule and Shaun's impressive management of the complicated logistics, coupled with his excellent team of craftsmen, meant that all aspects of the project ran smoothly and efficiently. We love everything about our new kitchen and therefore have no hesitation in recommending Shaun and his team.

I have contracted Shaun Davies Home Solutions on two different occasions to gut and refit the two bathrooms in my house. The service was comprehensive and the finish quality second to none. The staff employed by Shaun are all hard working and produce a fantastic result. Shaun was able to provide us with not only a fully fleshed out vision of the bathrooms but was also able to provide some options that would enhance them further than we thought would be possible. I requested designs and quotes from three different developers; Shaun's design stood out from the others as it as it used the space innovatively to provide me with all the features I was looking for in the new bathroom. In addition, Shaun, Chris and the rest of the team work diligently to ensure that disruption to my day-to-day living was kept to a minimum and also dealt with issues that arose when work had begun. I'm very happy with the end result - the main thing I wanted was a large walk-in shower and the new installation is fantastic. I'd recommend Shaun and his team wholeheartedly.

Shaun carried out a kitchen redesign and bathroom upgrades at my house in early 2016. Can't praise him and his team enough - especially Chris who carried out the majority of the work. The process was smooth from start to finish. No issues at all. As we weren’t living at the property at the time, Chris had a key and kept the place very clean and tidy throughout the work. It was so lovely to come to the house every few days and be amazed at the transformation. I now have a beautiful kitchen and gorgeous bathrooms throughout the house. Shaun is not the cheapest around but the quality of products and workmanship really shows. I would not hesitate to recommend Shaun and would happily use him again in the future.

He was able to design a bathroom that met our requirements and his suggestions and ideas all met with our approval. Everything about Shaun’s design we liked and we are thrilled with the end product. Throughout the entire process, Shaun has been on hand to answer any queries and kept us updated daily with the movements of the contractors. All the contractors involved throughout the process were extremely professional and friendly and provided an excellent service. They were all extremely tidy and even laid down covering on the stair carpet to avoid any damage. I would thoroughly recommend Shaun and his team without reservation.

Shaun and his team's professionalism was evident throughout our entire project. The design consultation was informative and very collaborative, with excellent ideas fitting in with our requirements. The installation was carried out to the highest standard and all of the workmen were friendly, polite, tidy and courteous. The main fitter Chris was brilliant. We were kept fully informed at each stage of our installation and appraised of any additional work or costs promptly. The additional costs were only 2% over the quoted price, and for the majority of that we were given choices. An appointment at my house was arranged quickly, and I got a prompt answer on my question, "can you build my kitchen by Christmas?" Yes was the answer, and the quality of service and build was outstanding. I will be using this A team again on my next project I'm sure. And yes, before you ask, I got lovely kitchen in time for Christmas The team have created a space for me, that will easily keep me happy for the next 25yrs. My husband and I had never been involved with building work before and were nervous when searching for a company to take on our rather large project of a new living/dining/kitchen and bathroom. We had bought our house purely to renovate and make into our dream home, therefore getting the detail spot on was important to us. Shaun Davies and his team understood this and we couldn't be happier with the outcome - even with the surprises that come with doing building work on a 1920s house..! With Shaun managing the design and suppliers and his allocated team doing the work under his management, all bases were covered. Shaun remained in contact with us throughout the two months and was able to keep my Project Manager husband happy with his updates - not an easy task! Special thanks should be given to Chris who hand built such a beautiful kitchen and always had a smile on his face throughout the work. Chris is a definite asset to Shaun's team. We first used Shaun Davies Home Solutions when they built some fitted wardrobes for us. The design, choice of materials, and craftsmanship were all second to none. Therefore, Shaun and his team were an obvious choice when we decided to have a new kitchen. We had some requirements regarding fittings but no real idea of design. The design that Shaun came up with was far superior to anything we could have imagined ourselves! Another big factor for us when deciding which company to go with was that Shaun was providing a complete service - we had a complete, finished kitchen from him and his team.
