Our furniture is made with pride and craftsmanship and is designed to outlast the buyer, To become antiques for the next generation. With so much of the furniture built today being disposable there will be very few heirlooms left in the coming years. All of our wood is handpicked from around Michigan, each piece of furniture purchased from Sanford Customs directly supports the Michigan economy. I supply drawings, price and description for each project and you are always more than welcome to come by and see your project while its being built. On top of our custom cabinet and furniture we also carry multiple cabinet lines for every price range. I believe we can match anyone's cabinet prices in similar lines but of a better quality. We do not sell cabinets made with MDF or particle board. But we can usually match their prices!!!

Hired Jason to do a full tear out and remodel of my kitchen. Had everything picked out, gave a 12,000 DOLLAR deposit and was looking forward to a new kitchen. Excuse after excuse kept happening but no work ever started. Eventually after trying to work things out with Jason I asked for my deposit back. It's been over a year and as of today, February 24,2020, still no return of deposit. And he's been alluding authorities.

Jason did a wonderful job. He has such great attention to detail and takes pride in his work. He worked all day and barely took a break, because he was so focused on his job and extremely dedicated. Working with Jason & Shaun was great. Shaun was very patient with me during the design process, and the outcome was better than I imagined! Jason did a wonderful job of setting up the furniture.....he was very neat & respectful of my home & furnishings. He even disconnected/reconnected my computer system for me! I will call Sanford Customs whenever I am in the market for wood furniture.

They repaired the 130 year old doors on my house to a level that I did not think possible. The doors had layers of paint and years of neglect that they had to work through, but after several months of dedication by Jason and his team, I now have the best looking front doors in Michigan (according to my wife and I). I fully intend to use Sanford Customs for all my upcoming interior projects (bathroom vanities, kitchen cabinets, butler pantry, etc). I know they will do an excellent job.

Jason Sanford walked off my kitchen cabinet job leaving me with no cabinet doors, missing drawers and only about 30% of my shelves. The cabinets where not built to plan. His contract called for a 50% down payment plus progress payments as the work progressed. He miss represented the amount of work completed and I paid him for a lot more work than he did. He repeatedly did not show up as promised would not return phone calls and finally just quit. We have been without a kitchen since November, Over five months! I would have rated him zero stars, but one is the lowest.

Sadly this is half true, half lies.. After being beat up on the price and lowering my price by $10,000. I felt it would still be worth it to do this job because it was going to be great for my portfolio as it was a very unique kitchen. After getting only a 1/4 down and the veneer paid for I had to wait a year and a half for them to get their kitchen ready when the contract was for an immediate start. The cabinets had to be stored and moved around for months. The kitchen was designed by the homeowner and had many mistakes that I also had to pay for. After loosening so much time and money I had to cut my looses knowing a bad review would come. After they stopped in the shop to distract me while violating my privacy rights by taking lots of pictures it confirmed my decision to play it safe and cut my ties with these people. I wish them the best of luck with the completion of their project.

I have been searching for years for the perfect counter for my bridal salon. What I wanted doesn't exist in the market place. After doing some research I finally decided to have one custom built. I found Jason on-line via his website. He was prompt in returning e-mails and phone calls. He was on time to meet with me on several occassions. I gave him very little direction other than some photos I found on-line. The counter is perfect! It's just what I've been looking for. And his prices were definately in line for this level of work. I have already asked him to quote some other jobs for me. If you use Sanford Customs you won't be disappointed! If you ever want to see some of his work in person you can view my check out counter at The Wedding Shoppe in Berkley!
