Avalon did a large, top-to-bottom refurbishment of my property and they were a pleasure to work with. Miros has assembled a great team who are either directly employed or are independent professionals he has worked for a long time. His in-house architect, Carlo, is a real pleasure to work with. They hit the ground running (a team of five arrived on the very first day) and did a thorough and high quality job. Miros is very innovative and I never felt that that I had less than his full attention. Best of all, they finished on-time. They are a high-integrity firm whom I felt I could trust throughout the project, and who have been very helpful in the months after the work ended.

Avalon were extremely conscientious, well above the norm, and performed work to a very high standard. Whilst I am sure they can carry out a broad range of specifications, the project they did for us was at the high end of 'luxury'. The team below the director was also excellent, and they had been working together for many years. I am aware that they conduct projects of all different sizes. They also offer ongoing maintenance which has the advantage of their knowledge as original contractor.

Avalon refurbished my home in North London. This was not a straightforward job at the house is listed and 230 years old and it was taken back to the bricks and joists - completely new plumbing, electrical installation and gas supply - then reinstating and repairing the original features such as the floorboards and cornice. They did a superb job. Their employees are skilled professionals - from foremen, to tradesmen and a craftsmen to labourers. As well as being skilled, they are incredibly hard working, friendly and honest. They were well managed by Miros - who had an eye for detail and a creative solution for the many unexpected issues that arose on a project of this nature. They were neither the cheapest nor the most expensive tender for my project but I chose them because I could see from the outset that they had thought about the job and were ready to do it well. I'm delighted that I did. KG

We recently completed a design project where we had the opportunity to work closely with Miros and his team from Avalon Construction & Design. There was straightforward and consistent communication throughout the process and a great understanding of the project’s requirements. We found them friendly, professional and easygoing. It was a real fun working together too!
