We were so pleased with how our kitchen/first floor renovation turned out! We wanted to upgrade yet keep everything functional for our family, especially with 2 young kiddos. We worked with Ideal CDR on our kitchen renovation and we could not be happier with the results! They took the time to really understand exactly what we wanted so that they could design the perfect kitchen of our dreams. Every aspect of the design is incredibly well thought out. Al, Sunitha and Rich are all incredible! We look around our gorgeous kitchen every day and talk about how much we love it. Every person who came through our house was nicer than the next. Our previous experiences with IDEAL CDR led us to engage them again for our kitchen and master bathroom remodeling projects this past year. As always, they were not just professional and dedicated, they were kind, thoughtful and flexible in getting the job done. We are absolutely thrilled with the outcome! Once our projects were started, IDEAL was there practically every day, even on some of the holidays, and completed the jobs in record time. In addition, we truly appreciated the fact that they have a relationship with Mouser Cabinetry--they were able to provide us with excellent choices for our cabinets. The entire team are true artists and their subcontractors were excellent. Everyone was attentive to detail and made sure that nothing was left undone. Al and Rich Cackowski provided superb leadership and Sunitha Lal managed not only led the Operations aspects of the projects attentively and proactively, she lent her artistic talents to the design of the rooms in many, many ways. I heartily recommend working with IDEAL CDR on your home renovation projects--they are amazing!

**EDIT (8/23) I felt compelled to offer a follow up review - 2 years in. I am actually super sad to do this after having a wonderful experience during construction. Our ceiling started cracking less than a year in. IDEAL came to repair. We chalked it up to usual settling. ALL GOOD! However, our flooring is cracking (has been for some time) and coming apart (please see pictures) I have tried over and over to get in contact with IDEAL and messages have been ignored. They did "'fix" the flooring once while re-doing the ceiling and a few weeks later, the same spot came apart. In addition, our ceiling is cracking AGAIN. (please see pictures) We are really disappointed in the follow up here. I am not even asking for a free clean up here, I am asking for ANY response. Truly sad, because I have recommended them to so many friends. Unfortunately, I cannot do that anymore. We paid a very high price for the services because we were told they were the best. To anyone looking now: PLEASE be careful. Keep looking for a company that will treat you well even AFTER the project is complete. VERY SAD with the follow through // customer service here. We used IDEAL when we added a level to our split level home. We added an office/master bath (walk in closet +bathroom). In the process, we also got new siding, and a new roof. We could not be happier with how the project turned out. What makes IDEAL stand out and shine is that the owners, brothers, Al and Rich are involved in every step of the process. Mostly every day of the work, one of them was on site. They take pride in their work, and it is absolutely outstanding. As far as timeline? RIGHT ON TIME. Here's how ON TIME these guys were: they told us our bathroom vanity would be going in Christmas week ... it was installed the week BEFORE Christmas. (YES, they worked through the holidays) If you are looking for CHEAP, this is certainly not the way to go, but trust me when I say you get what you pay for. The most outstanding, quality work. On time delivery and excellent customer service. We have two other big projects planned for our home and would not even CONSIDER using someone else. We have to mention Sunitha as well, who helped us through every step of the process and fielded numerous calls, emails, and texts. We LOVE showing off our new floor and family, friends are amazed at how smoothly the process was - and the finished product.

We used Ideal CDR contractors for our master bath reno. We selected them based on their notable reputation in our small town among industry experts. We were thrilled with the workmanship and reliability throughout the process.

Ideal helped us with a complete renovation of two bathrooms and now that they are done they are everything we hoped they’d be. Everyone works to a high standard, truly living up to the company’s name. We had completely new plumbing and electrical work done. We wanted custom woodwork and they were great collaborators, listening to ideas and making them reality. We also had a custom shower built to optimize a small amount of space and it turned out beautifully. Everyone who sees pictures is amazed, and people who have seen the bathrooms in person say the pictures don’t even do the quality of work justice.

We hired IDEAL CDR to do a major extension project (adding 2 rooms, 1 bath, redo of basement). I was interacting with Al. Since day 1, he was always professional and transparent about different options, cost breakdown, and timeframe. They completed the work ahead of time and with high quality. If you are looking to do a big project, look no further than IDEAL CDR.

These guys are a fantastic team. They are passionate about what they do and I would not hesitate to recommend them. They did a complete remodel of my townhouse and I couldn't be happier with the results. They identified areas where I could save money without giving up quality, have excellent carpentry skills, are responsive, leave the place clean, and really listen! Love these guys and their whole team!

We hired Ideal CDR to perform a gut renovation of half of our house which included the removal, relocation and reconstruction of two exterior walls. They were patient during design development, and made helpful recommendations. After construction began, they worked on our house every work day for approximately five months until the job was completed. Al and Rich and their team were considerate of our needs and respected our house. They promptly returned our calls and e-mails and acted timely. Most importantly, they stand behind their work, even after the project is complete. We will continue to use Ideal CDR for future projects, and we highly recommend them to anyone.

We contracted with Ideal on a large job involving a new roof, enclosing a porch, removing walls between the kitchen and dining room and dinning room and the porch to open up the space to completely renovate the kitchen and dining area. Work included a re-siding of the entire house and replacing a large deck with a composite material. Hardwood flooring was added to the new areas to match other rooms and all floors were sanded, stained and sealed. A hardwood bannister, new interior doors and floor and door mouldings were added and the entire new and adjacent areas were painted. We cannot say enough positives about out experience with the entire Ideal staff. The process from bid to completion was excellant. The workers were very polite, hardworking, on-time and cleaned up the space at the end of the day. We were always kept apprised of the schedule and knew what to expect throughout the entire process. The payment schedule was laid out in the contract and adhered to. The job was completed on time and within budget, even though we had some add-ones along the way. Though difficult living without a full kitchen, we enjoyed the process and highly recommend Ideal to everyone. Five stars all the way around!

Company and work is outstanding. Remodeled and updated a family room for us. Detail can be seen in the finished product. Timelines were met. Open lines of communication. Always showed up when scheduled to. Offered advice and color suggestions for tile, floor and overall layout. Gave us a visual concept before the work was contracted. Professional, neat and clean. Recommended to neighbors who used them for their kitchen.
