Working with this company was a huge mistake. I could give a hundred of examples of how miserable this experience was but here are a few: 1. There was extremely poor craftsmanship throughout the entire project. 2. The contractors did not follow our architect’s plans. 3. Changes were made and executed without ever discussing with us. 4. We received little to no communication about the project, especially when problems arose. We would not get responses even after multiple attempts at communication with Aaron. 5. When things went wrong we were always given excuses instead of solutions. 6. Aaron, his company, and his contractors have absolutely no accountability. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Very mediocre job. It’s likely you will be very disappointed as I cannot give you one example of how our basement renovation went well. Often projects were not done on time, there were not enough or the correct supplies, calls and emails often went unanswered for days, our project lasted more than twice the expected time, decisions and changes to our design were done without our input and there was always an excuse or someone to blame when we raised concerns. We had flood damage that resulted in a totail reconstruction on 2,000+ square ft of basement. Working with Aaron and Highrock construction was an awful experience. In the end Aaron attempted to charge us for things not done, the basement looks like we hired amateurs, we found an extra sink fixture sitting outside our egress window that we were likely charged for (I asked Aaron why it was sitting outside and never got an answer). I left a message asking where the screens for our windows are and have never gotten a return call, I wouldn’t be surprised if we never do. There is a hole in our drywall that was supposed to be fit with a cover for plumbing access and the one they brought didn’t work so they just left it. There is paint on the ceilings, all over the trim, and grout on the shower ceiling. I am thankful it’s our basement and not our kitchen or main living. Every time I am in the basement I am angered all over again about the way Aaron handled our project, treated us as clients, and the below average job done. I hope clients in the future know what they are getting into before hiring Aaron. The two men who worked for Aaron were very skilled and easy to work with, it’s too bad their boss is not.

Aaron and Highrock did a great job on our basement remodeling project. From the first meeting through project completion he was professional and responsive to any questions we had. The only negatives were a couple issues around communication. We were notified very late that our project start date would have to be moved back a month. Toward the end, there was a miscommunication around dates for carpet installation and I ended up having to do a lot of clean up in order to be ready for that. Aaron drew up a couple of different floorplan options and helped us decide on the best one to meet our needs. From a budget standpoint, I was pleasantly surprised that his allowances for tile, bath and bar fixtures, and cabinets allowed us to pick some really nice options and stay within budget. He did not nickel and dime us on the budget either - we paid exactly what the estimate said we would. Overall the project was completed on time and on budget. We could not be happier with our basement now! Working with Aaron and Highrock was an excellent experience. I would not hesitate to hire Aaron for another project and would recommend him to anyone.

I can say without reservation that Aaron and his associates work very hard to execute projects that are thoughtfully designed, well organized and well managed from start to finish. The end results are always fantastic!

I have worked with Aaron of Highrock Design on several projects and have worked closely with his clients through the interior design process of his projects. I would highly recommend Aaron as a contractor for any project! He completes high quality work, has great ideas, is quick to solve problems, and is very knowledgable in all realms of construction. I have enjoyed his processes and the opportunity to assist his clients. Highrock is definitely one of the best construction companies I have had the pleasure to work with.
