Henry has been so great to work with on my major remodel. He is efficient and always on time. Henry nailed the concept design based on our discussion. And after a couple small adjustments I had construction documents ready to go. Henry clearly takes pride in his work. He has been easy to reach for feedback and a pleasure to work with. Henry has been a huge help in navigating the contractor world as well. I highly value Henry for his detail oriented work, his professionalism and easy going personality. He continues to check in and always provides support when asked. It has been so much fun to watch his vision and my house come together. I love it!

Although we share an aesthetic sensibility, I found Henry to be exceptionally flexible as he always took the time to explain options and possibilities during each stage of the design process. At all times I felt Henry had my back and demonstrated the utmost patience with whatever whims or indecisiveness I threw at him. He is fully engaged, always timely, and a pleasure to work with.

Henry is a talented designer who has an excellent grasp of custom fabrication & construction. His "out-of-the-box" understanding allows him to create buildings that are not only innovative, but also buildings that are highly responsive to a client's unique individual needs/tastes. I represented Henry in his capacity as a court appointed receiver and architect for a long vacant, uninhabitable residential property. His charge was to make the property habitable. By their nature, these types of properties are difficult and present problems not normally encountered with traditional projects. Henry encountered and solved the myriad issues, some known at the outset and some discovered during the project. He did not require much assistance from me, which is unusual with receivers. The project was completed on time, and, given the latent defects, pretty much on budget. The end result was a move in residence. Henry was easy to work with and very adaptable.

What distinguishes Henry Miller is his ability to listen and communicate. He understood our vision for a roof deck project, and although giving excellent advice, Henry listened and heard what we wanted. His ideas are excellent and he's extraordinarily thorough and ready to research new materials and ideas. He always showed up early and well prepared for every meeting. Henry's enthusiasm equalled our own for the project. He was very effective in dealing with the builder, suppliers and the town. He persevered through every challenge which ensured an excellent result. I recommend him enthusiastically.

Henry is very professional and easy to work with he goes beyond the call of duty for his customers and I will be hiring him for all my projects. Henry went above and beyond for our project. We hired Henry to design our roof deck in S. Boston. Not only were Henry's designs and ideas better than any other architect/contractor we looked at; but Henry has seen the project through an appeal process. Henry's designs were amazingly detailed and he came in to meet with us and several contractors as we went through the process of choosing a contractor. Henry worked closely with our contractor to make sure all of the designs and lay-out met with the new zoning codes that had recently been changed. When we filed for our building permits - Henry once again took the lead and hounded the building dept. for details on the permitting process.. Henry was the best choice we made with this project. Thanks to Henry we will have a great roof deck to enjoy all summer. We highly recommend working with Henry - especially if you want to work with a professional and highly detail oriented architect.

Colaborated with Henry on this challenging elevated single family wood framed structure on steel pilings. From conceptual designs, through evaluation of several options for foundations and wood framing to withstand the environmental loads and winds at Plum Bush Downs in Newbury, MA. It was great to work with Henry to come up with a framing and foundtion system that will satisfy the architectural designs of floor space and exterior decks. The irregular shaped exterior walls create a dynamic view of the elevated house building. Beautiful and efficient floor space and overall project design. Coordination with geotechnical consultant and architect allowed for a very efficient support for the elevated house structure.

I retained Mr. Miller's services to both design and build the house of my dreams. He created the truly original design to fit perfectly on the almost three acre riverfront property taking full advantage of the breathtaking water and marshland views. Because there would only be one person living in the home I wanted the square footage to be minimal without sacrificing an aura of spaciousness. He succeeded in achieving this goal by creating high volume ceilings as well as a floor plan with totally functional space. Structurally the building is extremely sound as he engineered the steel pilings and wood framework to withstand the heaviest buffering of the prevailing winds. I can personally attest to the structural integrity having lived in the house during wind gusts in excess of sixty knots. The exterior facade is equally as pleasing as the interior design. Mr. Miller was professional and responsive throughout the entire design/building process consistently demonstrating an extensive knowledge of all technical disciplines required of an architect and builder. I trust him implicitly and he would be my first choice to use in future endeavors.
