We got Barak’s contact details from a friend that had his house done by Fresh Home Builders a few years ago. With a baby on the way, we had some big ideas for our own home, a two-bed flat in West Hampstead. Fresh Home’s in-house designer reviewed our plans, and came up with solutions to maximise space in line with our wishes and our budget. They gave us a full choice of design finishes and materials, and we’re thrilled with how everything turned out. We’ve now got a wonderful family home, complete with beautiful baby room. Thank you to Barak for the full turn-key service.

We hired Fresh Home Builder to fully refurbish 2 floors of offices into a brand new day nursery. The project took 6 months to complete and we were extremely happy with the results. Things went smoothly from day one, with a team of professionals on site everyday, working hard to get everything the way we wanted. On top of being very diligent, Barak and his team brought innovative ideas and solutions which allowed us to find solutions to challenges we were facing (how to adapt a ramp for children, how to deal with fire doors etc). Barak took everything at heart as if the nursery was his own project, thinking and acting as a partner. The team was also very reactive and flexible as our needs were evolving. The project was completed ahead of time, exceeding our expectations in terms of quality, and we have had ongoing maintenance since the end of the works. Indeed, a member of the team has been left available in case we needed adjustments, which happened multiple times. In a nutshell, I would (and have already!) recommend Fresh Home Builders for any type of world, residential or commercial.

We recently added an extension to the rear of our house, along with a complete refurbishment. The work was carried out by an architect friend of ours, but unfortunately it wasn’t done correctly and left us facing a big problem with the levels between the extension and the house. Fresh Home Builders did a fantastic job helping us to get things right, finally finding a solution after an endless amount of emails and meetings between Barak and Building Control. As part of the work, some fence panels and plants needed to be temporarily removed, and the builders had to access from our neighbours’ property. They were thoroughly professional in everything they did, and put everything back exactly as it was once the job was completed. we’re really pleased with their work and will definitely use them again and recommend.

This is the 1st time we have used Fresh Home for the extension of our kitchen and garage conversion. Excellent service from the beginning till the end, Barak gave us some great suggestions based on our plans and with his team they work around our family routine. The team is hardworking and trustworthy, and the quality of their work is excellent. I have no hesitation in highly recommending them.

Fresh Home did an amazing job at extending and renovationg completely my flat. They promised a lot... and delivered more. The quality of design, craftsmanship and finishes is excellent. Their pricing is already quite good in absolute, but it is second to none when you see the quality they deliver! I could not recommend them enough.

I found Fresh Home Builders along with a few other suppliers here on Houzz. Barak - the owner of the company, stood out immediately, with a tremendous "can-do" attitude, he was also the most proactive and responsive of all the companies we interviewed, although he was not short of jobs. Retrospectively I can say, we must have found what's so hard to get in London: a 100% RELIABLE PROFESSIONAL, who sticks to time frames and budgets, and does a flawless job. My family is in construction business abroad and they came to do a professional check once the work was completed and were delighted with the results. Our project was a full renovation of a 1000 sq feet apartment. 1 living room, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 balconies, 1 entry hall, 1 kitchen. Only the shell and the walls were kept. Fresh Home Builders team did an excellent job at everything: the walls, the floors, underfloor heating, electricity, water pipes, installation of kitchen, instillation of bathrooms, decorating of the apartment - everything! Barak as I mentioned is extremely proactive, and was happy to suggest various solutions that do not cost an arm and a leg, to any unexpected issue that occurred along the way (and they always do!). Before we hired Fresh Home Builders we had various firms that did not deliver on the jobs they started, did not start and / or finish in time, and plainly let us down- the difference with Fresh Home Builders was striking! Working with Barak and his team was a real pleasure, so much so, that we invited Barak and his entire workers team for a celebration dinner once the works were completed, as we were absolutely delighted with the results! As one can see from he photos, the apartment was kept in mainly light colours so any flaws would have been extremely visible. The work was carried out to perfection - the snagging process was super smooth. If you want a company that will deliver on their promise - Fresh Home Builders are the one! I will happily hire them again, and also happy provide more detailed references on the great quality of work, if of interest!

I had done some renovation works before with other companies and ended up very frustrated every time by the delays and bad surprises that happened during the projects. I contacted Fresh Home builders after receiving a friend's recommendation. From start to finish, Barak and his team have exceeded my expectations. Everything came within budget and time schedule was respected. The quality of the work they did was second to none. I recommended these guys to 3 friends since we finished our works and all my friends have been delighted also with the process and results. I couldn't recommend them enough.

Barak and his team completed a very extensive job in my apartment. Overall I'm extremely satisfied. For sure I will involve him on all future projects. The job was completed on time, on budget and went beyond my expectations in terms of quality. A lot of attention was brought to the smallest details. Barak is extremely responsive in case of questions/issues, and can come up with smart and practical ideas to reduce costs. Look at the before and after pictures! For reference this job included (1) creation of a new bedroom, (2) new bathroom, (3) new kitchen, (4) renovation of all walls, ceilings and floors, (5) installation of a completely new heating/hot water system, (6) creation of wardrobes/storage and (7) renovation of the terrace deck

We hired Fresh Home to redecorate one of our bedrooms and they did an excellent job! There main strengths are: 1. They went the extra mile to suggest improvements to the room's energy efficiency and damp proofing where they saw that the existing work could be improved. 2. They complied with all of our queries so we didn't have to compromise on any part of our vision (whereas some other builders we had consulted before tried to talk us out of some of our ideas). 3. They are respectful, polite and... funny ! Thanks !

I am an interior designer and did a refurbishment of a flat in London including a new kitchen, bathroom and redecoration of bedrooms. Fresh home builders were very good. Their work was to very good standard and they were also polite and respectful - I would highly recommend them! They work hard and you can see it in the high level of finish which was achieved. The materials I specified weren't the easiest to work with but everything was achieved the way I hoped.

The project was a complete renovation of a 4 bedroom maisonette in North London N7. We invited about 8 builders to quote in the end (mainly as a result of internet research), as it was an uphill job getting quotes back at all in some cases, even after the initial meetings. Eventually we chose Fresh Home Builders from the four proper detailed quotes we received. This was because the quote was detailed, clear and competitive and because Barak impressed us with his easy upfront manner, building knowledge and willingness to spend time looking at the costs and options before we had agreed to proceed. Also, as we were unable to be on site during the renovation, we needed a company who covered all trades and who would be able to project manage the work for us. Once we instructed Barak, he was clear with how payment would be made throughout the renovation and he made sure that we were happy at each payment stage before invoicing. Barak's team started on the agreed date and worked hard and efficiently. They produced a good level of finish and also were polite, friendly and always very helpful both with me and my neighbour which was greatly appreciated. Barak maintained good levels of communication and when issues arose would offer alternatives and where appropriate would agree any additional costs before proceeding. He was also happy to offer design ideas and to suggest cost effective products, solutions and suppliers when we didn't have something specific in mind. The work was finished within the timeframe we had agreed and the final invoice differed from the original quote only in that we had agreed a couple of bits of additional work and these were added at the price agreed. There were no unpleasant surprises which is something you always worry about when the final bill arrives. We were very pleased overall with the quality of the work and the final result which encompassed complete redecoration of the entire property (including removal of wallpaper and replastering in lounge, kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom and walls and woodwork redecoration throughout), complete bathroom, cloakroom and kitchen removal and replacement, installation of engineered oak flooring on two floors, consumer unit replacement and lighting installation. The team demonstrated good levels of individual workmanship, in particular with the flooring, tiling, bathroom and kitchen installation. The photos give a good idea of the transformation. Whilst a little stressful as all renovations are, it was by no means the nightmare I was dreading as Barak took care of managing all elements of the renovation including, plumbing, electrics, decoration, carpentry etc. We appreciated his honest and practical approach, whilst also ensuring compliance with all health and safety/building regulations and providing certification where required. When there was a potential issue with a corner supporting the flooring in the bathroom (revealed when the floor came up), Barak emailed photos explaining the teams concerns and then they reinforced all the beams to provide ample additional support before proceeding with the new flooring. They could easily have decided that it would be someone else’s problem down the line and just stuck the flooring on the top to save their time and we’d have been none the wiser. In summary, Barak and his team were easy to work with, with a focus on making sure we were happy with the work. It was always pleasant dealing with Barak and discussions on the way forward were always held in good humour. His honesty and integrity were clear on a number of occasions, qualities sadly often lacking in the building trade in my experience. At any rate, we were able to communicate what we wanted and where needed Barak was able to get across what he needed to know from us and then most importantly this was then communicated to his team. On the very few occasions where there was any misunderstanding, any issues were rectified. Therefore, I would have no hesitation in asking Barak and Fresh Home Builders to carry out further work for me in the future and, based on my experience over the last couple of months, I would be happy to recommend them to others.
