Ours was a large and daunting complete renovation of a five bedroom home in 2023. Roman and his team were nothing short of incredible. The result is a truly stunning home we are so proud of. Can’t recommend Family Home enough!

We engaged Family Homes last year to help build a ground floor extension as well as a carport. We truly enjoyed our renovation experience with Family Homes. Being first time renovators, we relied heavily on Family Homes to take us through the design, DA approval and building process. Throughout this process where unexpected issues arose – be it around dealing with council or the build, Roman and the team were willing and able to think out of the box to attend and rectify those issues, so the project can continue to move ahead. We were also impressed with their diligence around paperwork and in providing regular, comprehensive status updates. They also accommodated our staged approach to the build which was very helpful when budgets were uncertain. Family Homes is truly a one stop shop, providing a seamless experience from design to the final product. We’ve been in this house for more than a year now and couldn’t be happier with the quality of the build. Special shout out to Roman, Kevin, Marie, Paul, Shane and Walter for a terrific experience. Family Home Designers & Builders replaced our balcony and pergola in Mosman. It was apparent from the first contact that we are dealing with highly professional people. They have a great transparent process in place. This supports their personal approach and makes them easy to do business with. The owner, Roman Pazniewski met with us on site within 48 hours, Roman listened to our needs, clarified and made suggestions, took measurements and gave us a high level indicative cost. Walked through the process, our rights etc before we signed the contract. The work started and finished ahead of schedule. Although this job is a relatively small job for what they normally do, they gave it the priority and attention as any large project and they cared about it as much as we do. The quality of their work is outstanding, the team is professional, knowledgeable, friendly, caring, have high work ethics and proud of their work. The communication throughout the project was effective The people are a cut above, when dealing with the Owner, the Business Manager and their team, the Construction Manager or any of their tradespeople we felt confident and they always delivered on their promise. I needed a small renovation downstairs - a new wall, kitchenette, ceiling, flooring, and laundry, etc. Having done many renovations in the past, I was fearful. However, this company was significantly better in every way than any company I have ever dealt with (and I'm sceptical at the best of times). Their costs were transparent, they accommodated a number of changes mid-stream, they used an App to communicate everything, conducted weekly meetings with the foreman, the trades people were polite and clean and felt comfortable giving them our key. To top it all off, the job was done in half the time required! I have never posted a review for a builder, but I just had to this time. This organisation is trustworthy and I am pleased to highly recommend them.

When looking to perform a major renovation on our 23-year-old home, we were daunted by the huge task ahead of us. Of course, we had watched countless episodes of Grand Designs and The Block, so were mindful of how easy it was for budgets and timelines blow out. We chose Family Homes as they had built our original home. It was sound and of good quality, so we knew their standard of work was high, and felt we could trust them. They were not the cheapest, but the end result has turned out even better than we could have imagined. The project ran smoothly, and there were always trades working away on our property whenever I turned up, which was regularly. Family Homes kept us in the loop at all times, even when we had to make a trip overseas, and even stepped in to coordinate some of our deliveries when we weren’t there. Our building supervisor was invaluable, and their carpenter could often be found working quite late and even on weekends, to ensure deadlines were met. Often their trades would say to me, that they’d worked on our original home 23 years ago. Given the home has been so sound, it was good to know we had the same people working on it. It says a lot about Family Homes too, for having such a steadfast team. We got back into our property on time, actually a little earlier than we thought possible. We would recommend Family Homes to anyone.

We were very happy with the entire process from initial consultation through to project being completed on time and to our exceeded expectations. It is now 3 years since the project was completed and we have the furnishings and landscapes to complement the project. In general, the architect, builder and other tradesmen (plumber, electrician, carpenter etc) were quite professional. In the case of conflict, both the architect and builder tried their best to resolve any issues. Their workmanship was of high quality. The company rectified any defect in a timely manner while the project is still under its 6-year structural warranty. I would recommend Family Home to others.

We had a second floor addition to our house through Family Home and were very happy with the end result. Roman guided us through the process in a structured, professional manner and worked in partnership with us to create the living space we wanted. We were happy with the quality of the various trades used, and progress was made as communicated and the build was completed on time. Roman has an excellent team working for him, with everyone we dealt with being very efficient and friendly.
