Builders GB

My father, an elderly vulnerable pensioner was swindled out of his life savings by Builders GB. After my mother died, my father contracted Builders GB to complete a loft conversion which Builders GB abandoned, leaving his home in an uninhabitable damaged state in the middle of winter with half a roof and water pouring in through the house. Builders GB created a complicated situation which put my father in a vulnerable state where he was put under duress to make payments for work that was never or negligently done. We had to employ a secondary building firm at a huge cost to restart the build from scratch because what little was done by Builders GB didn't pass building regulations and was an absolute botch job. My father's health suffered immeasurably; he has not recovered from this and absolutely regrets contracting Builders GB in the first place. Builders GB is a unique Design and Build company. I've had a few of my projects completed by them in London and I'm very satisfied with their fast completions, experience, professionalism and enthusiasm. They always detail every single stage of every project very well and make sure that everything is built and finished to my satisfaction. I've used them on several of my properties now and some of the projects involved major structural changes and additions including basement conversions and former loft conversions. I found that most of the building companies in London that I've used in the past had to call in architects and consultants from outside but with Builders GB they have it all covered with their own specialists who work solely for them.

I'm really pleased with the overall service and finish provided by Builders GB. When I was hunting around for quotations I called numerous building companies and the prices did vary quite a lot, almost by 20% in some cases. I then got in touch with a local Architectural Company to see whether they had any suggestions and they put me through to Builders GB as they were working on a number of their projects at the time. I went over to meet the team and got to see them in action, I was pleased with their organisation and quality of work. Having then called them for a visit to my house a Project Manager from Builders GB complied a very detailed list from which they based their quotation on. To say the least I was expecting a normal building quotation but the one I received from Builders GB reassured me of their professionalism and general know how within the construction industry. I went for the Full Design and Build option which was very cleverly thought out from my initial requirements. Their in house Design Consultants and Architects then worked their magic and transformed what was firstly just a rough sketch into a fully detailed Design Brief and set of Architectural and Structural Drawings. My Basement was converted within a very short time as was the Loft Conversion and Extensions. I ended up with almost three times more space added to my property. To say the least I think that this company ticks all the boxes and provide a proper Concept to Completion Project and I highly recommend them.
