Several years ago B&J designed and constructed a lovely sunroom for me. Since then there have been a few minor problems with some of the components, especially the mechanical and electrical controls of the skylights . B&J has handled these issues promptly and very professionally. I can highly recommend their commitment to support their work after initial job completion and their efforts to ensure customer satisfaction.

I found out about Barron & Jacobs from walking around downtown Northampton! I told my husband about them and I guess after some vetting online he was convinced to do some projects he wanted to have accomplished. More recent ones were fixing a hole in a porch roof(very thoroughly, expertly and nicely done AND they cleaned up later(!), installing an elevator(including decorative flooring at the base), painting the whole house last Summer, and building a porch into a beautiful 3 season space(which I happily decorate in Winter). My husband was a perfectionist and sometimes in NY he’d send something back if it was a fraction of an inch off. I’d be like, “Can we please stop torturing this guy?” but Barron & Jacobs kept up with him every step of the way. They take pride in their craftsmanship for its own sake and theirs is really on the level of Art, in my opinion. Plus, if they don’t know how to do something they do know how to recommend the best person or people for the job. They’ve helped me out with some expert recommendations! Thank you whole heartedly! From design to completion, problems solving, availability and good communications: employees and project managers always kept us informed. Chris Jacobs, owner, was always timely planning subcontractors and moved with all changes required along the whole 16 weeks (almost). I surely will recommend this Firm to friends if occasion applies. Excellent service throughout the entire several month long remodel process when although both the kitchen and bathroom were totally remodeled it was done in such a way that I could remain im=n my home. I was able to remain in my and an excellent result. I now have exactly the condo I wanted when we began.
