The following Structural features come standard in every STRANVILLE LIVING home: Built on a Solid Foundation: A rebar grid system is tied within concrete applications (including footings, foundation walls, driveways and walkways) The backfill around your foundation is compacted to ensure run off water drains away from your home, not towards it. Floors are built from open web trusses. They allow plumbing and heating to run through the floor to maintain your full basement height. Built with Integrity: All rim joists, windows, and exterior doors are sealed with Sprayfoam. During the framing stage, we install wood backing behind walls to receive hardware. All roof trusses receive proper Hurricane Anchors to prevent roof uplift caused by Southern Alberta winds. Roof uplift can cause wall separation and drywall cracking. The roof is sheeted with a membrane underlay prior to the installation of Architectural shingles for additional roof protection.
