David Turner Companies

David established David Turner Companies in 2000 with a passion for classical architecture design and building. With over 25 years of experience, David Turner Companies specializes in renovation, custom and new construction. After graduating from Ole Miss, David attended the University of Memphis to achieve a Master's in the City and Regional Planning Program. He then worked a number of years in commercial land development, where he became a student of New Urbanism. In 2003, David developed Fondren Green, a small in-fill development in one of the city's beloved neighborhoods, which was one of Jackson, MS first New Urbanism projects. Fondren Green was an opportunity for David to design and build many of the homes in his development, combining a wide array of his interests and talents in one project. David Turner Companies was also a part of the beginning stages of the Lost Rabbit development, the region's first traditional neighborhood development. He built a number of the homes as well as parts of the commercial areas in the Marina. David has developed and built out other developments, and is currently working on a town center development in Jackson, MS. As David's company has grown, it remains a close knit of professionals with a passion for making people's lives better through the places we design and build. We work closely with our clientele, always striving to understand their lives and create places of lasting beauty and permanence. Numerous David Turner Companies' projects have been published and won a number of awards. The Home Building Association of MS has awarded David with "Best Renovation in the State" for the past 3 Years, "The Best Custom Over 5,000 sq/ft" for the past 4 out of 5 years, and "The Grand Award for a Home in Lost Rabbit". David and his wife Amy live in Ridgeland with their three children. When David is not working you will find him fly fishing, cycling or involving his family in an adventure.
