Walter Electric

Keith is a very experienced and reliable electrician. He did an outstanding job on the "down to the studs" remodel of my condo. He was a pleasure to work with and came up with good ideas to improve my design. Keith will be my first call the next time I need an electrician.

Keith Walter did a superb job in my house. I had 1942 wiring in my home. I got Keith's contact out of this website and a couple of others. Keith was the first to contact me and schedule an appointment within the first couple of days. He came out to my home, and conducted a thorough inspection of my home and the existing wiring. We walked each room and Keith made several suggestions on how I could not only update my outlets and switches, but also my interior lighting. Keith enjoys designing beautiful ambient, and utilitarian lighting. I asked Keith to email me a bid, which he did within the first week. I had a budget in mind, although he came close to it, I needed to cut costs. Keith worked with me, and suggested where it was important to not cut costs and where we could without sacrificing safety and code issues. We came to a meeting of minds and costs and the work began. Keith has two wonderful assistants, Alan and Saul who were the hardest, diligent and consciencious workers. Keith, Saul and Alan made the whole process of installing new breakers, box, wiring and lighting a smooth and organzied process. I plan to do additional lighting outside for my deck and front yard and I will not hesitate to contract Walter Electric to do the job. If you are on the fence, and you want an honest electrician who goes out of his way to make his clients happy, do not hesitate to call Keith Walter.

We recently had some work done on our house and Walter Electric (Keith) did a superb job. Our job was small which we could clearly tell from the reactions of some other electricians, but Keith took the time to really walk through our home and give advice and recommendations, even if they meant less money in his pocket at the end of the day -- restricting the scope of the project, recommending we find and purchase parts instead of him supplying them, even giving advice on which parts to buy and where to get them. In the end, we felt as if he was much more invested in us as customers and in our electrical needs than any of the other professionals we talked to, and his price was fair -- I don't recall if he was the most reasonably priced, but I believe he was. When the project actually started, it was done quickly and they did a fantastic job on everything they touched. They even went above and beyond and did some repainting which wasn't in our original agreement. I would not hesitate to recommend Walter Electric to anyone based on our experience, and when we have additional plans for lighting or electrical work, they will be the first on our list to call.

Keith the owner was friendly, professional, and honest. He came in and gave me a thorough assessment of what I need. His team Alan and Sal both worked on my house after I hired them. These two men where friendly, and kept my place clean and did their jobs with great proficiency. I had my house rewired and some older outlets grounded. I was concern with damages to the walls and ceiling because they would have to cut into both to do the work. However, Alan did a beautiful job patching the wall and texturing it when they were done you couldn't tell anything has been done to the wall. They were not the lowest bid. However, they did a wonderful job and the extra money I spent was worth it. I was a little skeptical of 5 star ratings from so many reviewers, but now I am a believer.

I am a general contractor and have worked with Walter Electric on numerous projects both residential and commercial for many years. I have always known the company to have high integrity, knowledgeable, with great design ideas.
