Otter Electrical Services, has helped me organise a compact, new build house, into a home. I cannot fault Ian's workmanship, competency, his politeness and tidiness. His services are competitive, and I would very definitely recommend him to future clients. In my house, Ian has installing ceiling lights and several extra sockets. I hate trailing wires and extension leads and he has provided solutions for both an electric fireplace in my sitting room and my TV/ audio/ wifi, are now all without trailing wires. An excellent result. I also now have a hidden socket in a cupboard for a rechargeable vacuum cleaner. Small detail, but it works. He has re-wired my converted garage, a new multipurpose space, with necessary electrics, and we are now organising the lighting for the garden. His advice for this area has been really appreciated. Ian completely rewired our house, loft conversion and kitchen extension. His price was competitive and the quality of workmanship superb. He only supplied the best quality materials and always kept us informed of when he would be on site - always turning up when he said he would. Great communications and completely trustworthy. It was an absolute pleasure to have him working with us on our project. Wholeheartedly recommend. If all tradespeople could be this good.

We commissioned Otter Electrical Services to do a complete rewire of our 17th century house whilst it was being modernised and extended. Ian performed the work brilliantly, and was able to guide us through the choices available in modern electrics, offering creative solutions when necessary, and even brought sample lighting options for us to test in situ. He wired all the central heating system, the electrics for the well incorporated in our house by the extension, and arranged for the TV/satellite/aerial/telephone installations as well. He was sensitive to our needs, liaised with our other tradespeople as necessary to avoid work clashes, always arrived on time when specific visits were arranged, and brought the job in on cost. He was a pleasure to have around, totally trustworthy and honest, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to others contemplating electrical work on their homes.

I cannot praise Ian, of Otter Electrics too highly for professionalism, insight into possibilities and appropriate, fair pricing strategies. He has worked with us on several projects over the last two years both small and large including the conversion of a garage into a bespoke multimedia A.V viewing area. The ability for two way discussion of project planning through to completion made a real difference to the outcome. On a more human level it also makes a difference to have somebody you can really trust and above all a nice respectful, intelligent person in your household. It's also worthy of not that on completion of each project, the work area was left in in pristine condition.

I was extremely pleased with the professional and friendly way Ian carried out the work to fit lighting and power circuits to my recent garage conversion. He gave me good advice where I was unsure of anything and carried out the work in a tidy and organised way.
