George and Lynn Green started in the electrical contracting business in 1984, working out of their home each day with only one service truck on hand. In 1985, they joined forces with M.E. Davis and Davis & Green Electrical was born. Over the years, George and Lynn have watched with amazement as their small company expanded to become the industry leader it is today. With God’s many blessings and a lot of hard work and determination, the Davis & Green name has become known for quality, dedication and integrity in Virginia and beyond. Our employees are at the core of what has made Davis & Green Electrical the successful company it is today. At Davis & Green, we believe that by investing in our employees through education, we are helping to ensure the growth and future success of both the individual and the company as a whole. We are proud supporters of ABC and the Virginia Electrical Contracting Apprenticeship Program (VECAP) and we have a solid history of employing electricians from the time they enter the apprenticeship program to when they are running a million dollar job. My whole-house generator failed to start and I called this company. I scheduled an appointment and they sent one of their techs, Robbie. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He performed the annual service, started the generator several times to check it and it was working perfectly when he left. Jim and Lisa Martin

Davis and Green were extremely helpful when we found ourselves in a time pinch. We needed some exterior lights moved and added to our house just prior to a major paint job. They immediately came and completed the job. Jason Good was great in his professional and cleanliness. Their prompt attention to our project meant our paint project was in no way held up, and moved along according to schedule. Thank you so much for being so nice and accommodating!

I experienced an electrical issue on Sunday of a holiday weekend. It involved my refrigerator, so it was crucial. I called Davis & Green, left a message on their call line, and Chris called me back right away. He suggested a number of things for me to try in order to save me the weekend service charge. I wasn't able to try them, so Chris sent Dominique out to my home. It turned out to be a breaker problem which was quickly detected and remedied by Dominique. He never made me feel like an idiot and took the opportunity to check out and test my breaker panel. Very, very happy with Davis & Green!!

From the first phone call and scheduling to actual professional service - electrician Domonique - simply outstanding!! I was scheduled for "second service" and they called to say they could come earlier then anticipated. Domonique was professional - reviewed my "to do" list, completed them with full explanation and provided guidance and suggestions on future options - which we requested. Sadly we've experienced other examples of poor contractor service and I was somewhat reluctant to call Davis & Green thinking that we only had small residential jobs. Wow - we were treated as if we were the most important client out there.....and they fixed everything... even the job another electrician said was going to be a BIG job. Domonique found the problem almost immediately and we were good to go. And frankly D&G's fees were very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Davis and Green also generously worked with us on a "fix it in a day" TV show and provided all materials and labor at no cost to the homeowner. There should be a special six-star rating category for professionals like the employees of Davis & Green. Scheduling is prompt and respectful. Technicians are always on time. They consistently do exemplary work each time they have been in our home. D&G earned our highest trust from the beginning of our construction project and will continue to be our first call for future projects.
