From our 16 regional offices, Select Security not only provides local service, but also serves as a member of the community. Here is where you will find information regarding the office closest to you. We've been helping homes and businesses protect what matters most to them since 2003, but our roots go much deeper. Our founder, Patrick Egan, installed his first security system in 1972, as a favor to his friend, the owner of the Garden Spot Bowling Center in Strasburg, Pa. Over the next 25 years, he grew his business into one of the largest electronic security systems companies in the U.S. After selling Commonwealth Security Systems to Republic Industries, Mr. Egan decided to start over again, founding Select Security. Today, we are again one of the largest security companies in the country, ranking in the top 50 in the latest version of the SDM magazine's annual ranking. We've also been recognized as one of the Top 50 Fastest Growing companies by the Central Penn Business Journal for three years in a row! We were also pleased to be recognized by Honeywell in 2012 for our community service, and participate in numerous civic fundraisers and awareness programs. But while recognition and awards are nice, we take greater pride in being the provider of choice for thousands of homes, businesses, and community buildings across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Kentucky, Utah, and Texas. We take the trust our customers place in us seriously, constantly training our team to ensure a higher level of technical knowledge, and ensure that the latest technology is available to our Customer Care Team so they can proactively identify and solve our customers' problems. We are constantly exploring new products, services, and technologies that we can use to increase the convenience and level of security our customers enjoy. Our latest discoveries have led to us offering integrated home automation, which has quickly become popular with homeowners who like how easy it becomes to make their home work around their lives. Businesses, meanwhile, are beginning to benefit from our managed services offerings, which have brought security and convenience together, helping them protect their assets and manage employees.
