I cannot recommend John Ross highly enough. I have used the services of John Ross to fully equip my last 3 homes with TVs, Sonos, sound systems etc and each time me has been perfect. Very efficient and friendly service and nothing is too much trouble. Importantly, John Ross also gives very good value for money. John and his team were very professional from start to finish. After the first sit down with John we discussed what I would like installed and how I had dreamed of it all being interlinked. John took all that information and came up with a system that met all my requirements and even future proofed it so it can be expended. During the physical build works John and his team worked closely with the builder to schedule in convenient times to perform the wiring and installation. The quality of workmanship was also second to none with attention to details at every point, also down to explaining to me how it all worked. Following completion of the works John continued to keep in touch checking how the system was performing and attended site straight away if we had any issue. One year on I could not be happier with the system and would certainly recommend going with John Ross Smart Living it really does make my life easier.

John and Jason have provided a variety of support over the last year since moving into a new house. What seemed a very confusing system was made simple by the Smart living team. The work involved ensuring excellent Wi-Fi throughout the house and out buildings, installing TV in several rooms and updating the home cinema system. John provided us with realistic options to suit our requirements and budget. Always on hand to answer any queries and more than willing to spent time to ensure things are correct. As someone who ‘ just wants things to work’ John’s team got on with any job and are now my first point of contact for home technology.

We cannot recommend enough the fantastic service and workmanship from John and his team. From our initial contact through to our home consultation, John was able to assess what we wanted done and talk us through design options for our new home cinema. John ensured that all the questions we had were adequately addressed. As building works were due to commence at our property, John was more than happy to liaise with our builders to ensure that any structural changes catered for the design of our new home cinema. John kept us fully informed throughout the process of the home cinema installation – from the ordering of parts, delivery dates, colour way choices for the sound system, screen dimensions, projector and sound system options - all to optimise our home cinema experience. We are beyond pleased with the end result – a slick home cinema system that meets our needs and fits in with the design of our home. Our home cinema is the star of the show for all our movie nights! Our friends and family absolutely love it! Following the cinema installation, John and his team also helped us integrate a Multiview system across TV’s within the property – adding Apple TV and enabling connectivity to our games console from any TV within the home. I started the project with few things in my mind but John and team gave me some ideas and suggestions how to integrate the smart home technology into my newly converted flat. It is all functioning well and a very good response from the team.

What a team , led by the man himself John Ross. The design of our living , kitchen extension has been enhanced by the lighting design . Installation was a dream and the end result was totally awesome . So glad we went down the smart route . A smart move.

Dear readers, John Ross Smart living, installed the home automation Control4 system in our house. The system installed consists of security cameras, smart lighting control, with different mood and entertainment scenes. In-built ceiling speakers allow for playing music in any room and outside via the usual apps such as Amazon, Apple and Spotify, controlled all from the Control4 smart App. In addition the house is networked providing excellent wifi connection, including smart TV's and Sonas Arc sound bar, giving real immersive sound quality in the lounge. The icing on the cake has to be the purpose designed cinema room, with 4K high definition projector and very large screen that brings movies to real life in the home, which has been enjoyed by the family and visitors. With wall to wall speakers and blue accent lighting in the ceiling, linked to smart auto dimmed lighting when the movie starts... it is truly fantastic and a really wow factor. The cinema system, allows access to sky and normal TV programmes, streaming services, such as Prime, Netflix, Apple TV+ and Disney+ via xbox one unit which also allows for gaming on the big screen, which is truly awesome. John and the team have been very helpful fine tuning everything to fit in with our daily way of life and everything has been trouble free. We have found John and his team very knowledgeable, professional and reliable...... well done and thank you.

We have used John Ross Smart living twice, for advice and to instal cameras, a wifi booster network and satellite. Work has been of good quality and John and his team are responsive and helpful, including with post installation support.

Excellent service, it was a pleasure having both John and Jason in our home. We are very grateful for them answering all our questions and planning out our system with us. Jason getting the cables in was a huge bonus after we had not done this when getting our renovation and extension done. We would recommend to to anyone doing building work to get audio and network cabling done during the electrical fit out, and ask John Ross for recommendation during your planning stage. Then get them back to fit the fun stuff! The system you recommended is great and all working brilliantly, the Tidal recommendation is awesome too, we did a direct comparison to Spotify and it blows it away. We watched a film on Friday night and had to turn the sub down as the furniture was bouncing! It was very refreshing to have a conscientious professional contractor who provided thorough quotes, turned up when they said they would and did what they said they would, working with us. No point trying to do it yourself when you can have professionals do this at a very reasonable price. These guys are a credit to their trade and would highly recommend for anyone looking for quality audio or smart living solutions. Thanks again!
