Federal Hill Home Theater

Federal Hill Home Theater did a great job on several projects for my new house a few months ago. They were asked to do the following: - 55' TV/soundbar mount, surround speaker and component setup in a living room where the TV mount was placed in the opposite corner of the room from the cabinet containing all the components - 55' TV mount and surround speaker and component setup in a large finished basement - 10 outdoor speaker setup with multiple zones and central amplifier setup in the living room Even though I had picked out most of the equipment ahead of time, the guys still had some good product recommendations that I took advantage of (especially for the amp and one of the TV's I bought). They did a great job of setting the rooms up in a way that hid wires and took maximum advantage of the layout of each room. The living room was especially a challenge, because the options of where to mount the TV were limited (due to wall space that was already taken up by a fireplace, windows, a double door to an outside porch and a large hutch). They were able to kitty corner the TV and soundbar mount, and then run about 100 feet worth of cables behind the wall, under the floor to the basement directly below, running them along through a drop tile ceiling and then back up through another wall behind the hutch. So long story short when you walk into the living room, you see a TV/soundbar mounted on a wall with no components or cables in sight. All of the those are safely tucked inside a large hutch in the opposite corner of the room. Total project cost ended up being about $10K, a lot of which was for the various equipment and components I bought including 2 55 inch TV's, 6 different SONOS speakers/components (including the soundbar and subwoofer), 1 blu ray player, 1 amplifier and a host of cables and cords. From a product perspective, the prices they quoted were in line with the pricing for the same items on Best Buy.com or Amazon - no built-in markup. In some cases, Federal Hill Home Theater's prices were actually a little better. The work was done through 3 different visits over the course of 1 month, but the end result was terrific. Really happy several months later with both the products and the setup in each room. My only regret is that I didn't listen to them when they advised me to get a 65-70 inch TV in my basement instead of a 55 inch. Clearly they had a better view of the potential of that room than I did! I would definitely recommend using Federal Hill Home Theater for any type of home theater install job, as it's clear that those guys are super passionate about what they do and take pride in their work.

Matthew and the folks at Federal Hill Home Theater created an amazing Movie like experience for me. I truly enjoy the comfort of sitting in my own home watching TV or streaming video from Netflix and YouTube, all in High Definition. There's also the capability to watch Blu-ray DVD in HD and 3D. Plans are in the works to add powerful moving audio in three dimensional space by upgrading to a Dolby Atmos System. Federal Hill Home Theater also did a masterful job wall mounting a large HD TV in another room that was also installed with a surround sound system. So Nice!

The Folks at Federal Hill Home Theaters are some of the best people I've dealt with for my Audio/Visual needs. They are very professional with their work and their craftsmanship. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I would certainly continue to do business with them again and again.

We've worked with Federal Hill Home Theater on multiple projects over the past year, including a new 42,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Lincoln, RI. This project required the mounting of around 20 TVs on various surfaces, including drywall, brick, and concrete block, at low and high heights.
