Exclusive Car and Home Audio

Trent Mason, a native of the Bitterroot Valley, founded the company in 2011 and the doors were officially opened in 2012. Trent has over 20 years experience in audio installations. In 1996, he completed his first installation in his truck and began doing installs for friends and family. 3 years later, Trent was working at his first car audio installation shop. After working for two years, he accepted a position in Salt Lake City, UT with Ultimate Electronics. Over the next 3 years, Trent trained under a master installer (Mobile Electronics Certified Professional) and earned his MECP while working with Ultimate Electronics. During his tenure at Ultimate Electronics, he worked his way up to become the assistant shop foreman. When the opportunity arose to transfer to the Ultimate Electronics location in Las Vegas, Trent packed up and moved to Nevada and continued to work for the company for another 3 years. While doing high-end car audio installations in Las Vegas, Trent was offered a job working in home audio and decided to diversify his portfolio and learn everything he could about home audio, electronics and automation. He accepted the position with Master Installers and began at the bottom doing frame work and prewire. Over the next few years, he worked his way up to become the lead finish installer, where he was responsible for finishing most of the home installations and providing instruction to the homeowner on how to operate their new hi-tech systems. Trent enjoyed the hands on experience and working with home electronics, and decided to expand his knowledge when he was offered a position by a new company who opened their doors in Las Vegas. In 2005, Trent accepted a position with Tweeter as a Quick Response Technician and earned QRT of the year for the region (consisting of 15 stores) and 3rd overall in the nation representing 76 stores. In 2008, Tweeter succumbed to the recession and closed their doors nationwide. Over the next few years, Trent worked as a contractor for companies doing home security systems. After mastering car and home audio and electronics as well as home security systems, Trent moved back to the Bitterroot valley in 2011 to open Exclusive Car and Home Audio. His expertise in a wide range of electronics systems brings a uniquely fresh one-stop shop to the valley.
