Matthew Germano has over 40 years hands on experience in the construction industry. Being self employed for 35 of those 40 years, He has developed skills of a master stone mason, carpenter and designer. As a result, He loves adding many architectural elements to his designs. His work has been featured in many publications over the years. If you are looking for creative idea's for your wine cellar storage room and the highest quality craftsmanship, then you have come to the right place! Matthew was the first (and only) dedicated wine cellar designer/builder in the middle Tennessee area going back to 2001. Designing and building custom wine cellars and tasting rooms is all that we do! We understand the investment you will have in collecting fine wine from around the world. Nashville Wine Cellars did an AMAZING job creating our modern wine cellar. Matthew and his team took our general design ideas, expanded on them in ways we never thought of, and executed the design meticulously. We have done several remodels and Matthew by far has been the best contractor we have ever worked with because of his professionalism, creativity with design and problem solving, craftsmanship with wood and stone, and intense attention to detail. Without reservation we highly recommend Matthew/Nashville Wine Cellars.

I would recommend Nashville Wine Cellars and Matthew to anyone and everyone needing his services. He is precise, careful, and a true expert at his craft. He's also highly focused on his client's individual needs. Our cellar came out EXACTLY as we envisioned. Ours was a smaller cellar and we picked a location for it just off our kitchen. Having a long project going on in your main living area is hard but Matthew made it easy. He cleans up every day when he leaves, he's quiet and friendly, and was extremely respectful of the house. I can't tell you how many jaw-dropping comments we've gotten on the finished product - every other contractor that has been here has noticed the skill level evident in the cellar too (we have a lot of projects going on). Matthew really cares and is worth every penny. Highly recommend!

Matthew from Nashville Wine Cellars came out and replaced my Whisperkool unit with a brand new unit. Sound simple? It was not. I had a self venting unit, which they no longer make. Matthew had to come up with a new solution that involved my attic and draining to the outside. He was amazing. He was on time, polite, never over committed, and had great communication. I’ll be using him to remodel my wine cellar soon. I highly recommend!

My family hired Germano Wine Cellars to reconfigure a large storage closet and bath into a climate controlled wine storage area. We received detailed 2 demensional drawings and pricing. Matthew and his team were very creative and knowledgeable. Everyone on the team did their job professionally and left the job site clean every day. We turned a closet into a wine room and Matthew was incredibly detailed and professional throughout the process. He designed a beautiful room and worked around mass construction within the rest of the house as he completed the project on time and within his budget estimate. We were very impressed with the quality of the construction and the ultimate outcome. The wine room stays cool at a 51 degree temperature and looks beautiful. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering a small project (as ours was) or a full wine cellar which I know he has done as well.

Matthew did a great job in the design & build of our wine cellar and tasting room. He is very creative & meticulous in his execution. His skills range from carpentry & stone work to tile & wrought iron. Matthew completed cad drawings, ordered materials, managed excellent subcontractors and completed our projects on time and budget. The results were outstanding. Our project scopes were in excess of $200K. We would definitely recommend Matthew for his work & professionalism.

Germano did an exceptional job on our wine cellar. We hired Germano when we finished our basement and he had a small space to work with. The resulting design and workmanship makes it the most talked about room in the basement! He listened to our ideas of what we wanted and adding his extensive knowledge and pizazz ended up far exceeding our expectations. He also recommended an artist that did a hand painted roll-up shade and drawings that really enhanced the cellar. Germano is very professional, responsive and meets his deadlines. I highly recommend his work!

Matthew transformed our storage closet into a dream wine cellar that we have always wanted! He is extremely detail oriented and quite the perfectionist, which I relate to and appreciate. His work is quality and beautiful, but does take time. The cellar is climate controlled and has the potential to hold 900+ bottles. He also built a tasting area just outside the cellar in our hallway that really ties the whole thing together. Matthew is very professional and polite...and clean! He cleaned up his mess everyday which was so nice for me as I have small kids around. The craftsmanship is remarkable.
