Highly Respected Design-Build Firm Serving the DC Area

Lizzie has been designing residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces in Washington, DC since 2007. Some of her favorite projects have included being part of the ground-up development of a multi-unit condo building in DC, designing custom woodwork for a mantelpiece in Bethesda, and collaborating on a new restaurant space in Palisades. Lizzie’s passion is working with you to create the space of your dreams. She began her interior design career with Elizabeth deRosset Prioleau Interiors in Charleston, SC and holds degrees in Historic Preservation from College of Charleston and Sustainable Design from Boston Architectural College.

I have worked with LM Design during my last two home renovations. Lizzie is an incredible designer, and her team is amazing. My favorite thing about Lizzie, besides her incredible style, is her take-charge attitude that enables me to just sit back and enjoy the ride! Lizzie really listened to me and what I wanted, in both design projects, and then created the perfect chic, welcoming, fabulous spaces. Lizzie's use of the online dashboard to review the project and approve items was so easy, and I loved being able to go back to the vision board and see everything take shape. Lizzie makes sure everything is perfect, and having someone who is a perfectionist is exactly what you want when working on your home! She also always goes the extra mile to make sure things turn out just as they are supposed to, while making it easier on the client. From accepting deliveries to hanging pictures herself, Lizzie treated both of my homes as if they were her own in the best possible way. I just can't recommend her highly enough. You will love working with LM Design!

Lizzie is a consummate professional. She has worked with us on projects throughout our house for the past few years. Lizzie has helped us to renovate and design our basement, hang pictures and artwork throughout the house, redesign all our bedrooms, office, and kitchen space. She has been an invaluable resource and sounding board for what can be an overwhelming design process. I would highly recommend.

Lizzie is a talented designer with loads of good ideas, but just as important, she is fun to work with! She’s relaxed and happy and will help you relax into your design happy-place. She was enthusiastic about my project (complicated renovation of a 1920s master bath) and made herself available when I needed her. I was very, very glad I had her help!
