Award winning Mother & Daughter Design Studio Since 2014 we’ve transformed hundreds of homes in Marin County and San Francisco using our expertise, our client’s visions, and the unique natural elements around us. We work with you to create thoughtful & polished designs that bring out the very best in each space in your home. After getting her National Kitchen & Bath Association design certification and working in the industry for 5 years, Judi Cooper created her own business - Kitchens Inside Out that draws on her past experiences in professional organization. Combining a love of spatial planning with a passion for distinctive designs and color theory, Judi has helped clients solve problems in their homes and helps them accurately reflect their own style. In 2022, Judi brought on her daughter Natalie to create a design team that streamlines the entire remodeling process. After assessing the client's unique needs and pain-points in each room they hope to transform, Judi & Natalie work together to create a space that fits seamlessly into each client's lifestyle and compliments their entire home. We used Judi to design a full remodel of our kitchen which included reusing certain appliances and structural elements. She listened carefully to what we did and didn’t want, then came back with a range of ideas that helped us refine to a design we love, beyond what we could imagine by ourselves. She was a great resource in finding and deciding on the elements we wanted as well as the professionals we needed to use. She “owned” the project through completion, staying in touch throughout the construction and installation phases and stepping in to help troubleshoot several unforeseen issues. Her knowledge and foresight meant our project got done close to on time despite the pandemic!

Judi was great at helping us design our new kitchen! She was very knowledgeable and had great access to many different product vendors - kitchen appliances, cabinets, tile backsplash, etc. She has a great eye when it comes to designing a kitchen. We are exceptionally happy with our kitchen and we definitely recommend her!!

I highly recommend Kitchens Inside Out. Judi and her team created a beautiful custom kitchen precisely tailored to our family's needs. She began with a detailed evaluation of our cooking and entertaining style as well as our storage needs. Her comprehensive approach to the design phase is one of the many things that sets Judi apart. She presented several layout options and collaborated with me on cabinets, appliances and finishes. Judi then worked closely with our contractor to keep the project on time and on budget. She and her team are skilled and creative design experts who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to any remodeling project.

Judi Cooper, owner of Kitchens Inside Out remodeled our primary bathroom. She and her team did an outstanding job. I have received so many compliments on our bathroom. The design and high quality materials used are timeless. Judi listened to what we wanted to achieve and turned a very dated bathroom into a spa-like space. Highly recommend Judi and her company. Fantastic designer!

Judi & her daughter Natalie were such a pleasure to work with on our kitchen and master bath remodel. We loved the well thought out designs they came up with for our rooms….they look so beautiful and so much better than we could have imagined! We wanted something different and unique than what we over and over online, and they delivered. Judi at Kitchens Inside Out was fantastic to work with. Great design concepts for a challenging space. We have a large kitchen (1927 original construction) that was probably last renovated in the 1980's. It was taken down to the studs and re-designed so that we could 1) remove the two posts on either side of the island that were really an eye sore, 2) shrink the size of the island so that the space was more comfortable for working at the island, 3) switch around where the sink had been previously to a better orientation with nicer views out the window facing the front of the house, 4) add two additional windows on either side of the La Canche range, 5) add an additional dishwasher and integrated sink over in the bar area of the kitchen and tons more. I really like the Crystal cabinetry that Judi meticulously measured and styled for our kitchen and bar/entertainment side of the kitchen as well. Kitchens are too important to try and design on your own. Best advice is to work with a professional that knows what they are doing, has the resources and knowledge, and that is Kitchens Inside Out.
