John Schrader Construction EXCEEDED my requirements with a beautifully remodeled bathroom for my cabin. An old iron tub was replaced with a fully-tiled walk-in shower. The existing vanity/sink/medicine cabinet were replaced with built-in, hand-crafted structures of Alder wood and cultured marble. The project was completed on schedule and within budget. The quality of the work was EXCELLENT.

I have known John for over thirty years both as a friend and a contractor. I have always been drawn to John for the quality of work he did. We purchased an old home and had it moved on our property. We contacted John to do much of the remodeling and all of the finishing work. The job required a lot of talent and precision work as you would expect from an older home. John's crew did a marvelous job of blending in what we wanted in the remodeling and what needed to be done. John did an outstanding job and and our home is the envy of many. John was always on time and very seldom was he over budget. The reason John would be over budget would be due to changes my wife and I requested. I still use John from time to time for additional work and changes we want him to make. I would not hesitate to recommend John to someone who is looking at having quality work done.

John and his crew are dependable, trustworthy, efficient, effective, respectful of property, knowledgeable, cordial, clean and fair; easily one of the top two remodelers/repairers we have used in four decades. Six French doors/windows were sagging due to wood rot beneath a cement/stone patio just above the foundation as well as behind a stone outside facade. They created an effective drainage system to stop damage and repaired our supporting structures. The crew has also replaced several window sashes. John Schrader Construction is our first choice for remodeling and repair.

We wanted to remodel an older home we'd purchased, so we asked John Schrader to do a floor plan for us. He used a computer software program to completely reconfigure the home, including adding living space in an attached garage. He also designed a new kitchen, repurposing some of the old cabinet bases. His company built and installed the kitchen and master bathroom cabinets. They turned out beautifully! John worked within our budget and was very accommodating. We would highly recommend him and his company.

We are very pleased with the excellent quality of work performed on our addition. The value received was great and the final dollar estimate of the project was extremely accurate. The attention to workmanship detail was outstanding. The foreman assigned to our project was hard working and communicated well with us. All construction projects are a two way street so we have to take some accountability here but feel as though there were some small communication breakdowns related to target completion dates. That is the only issue keeping this from being a 5 star rating. Very happy with the results!!!! Thank you!!! Yes, would definitely use John Schrader Construction again and recommend him to anyone.

John Schrader Construction does quality work. I would gladly recommend them for any project. I really appreciate the time and thoughtful planning John and his team do before the project begins. I have used Schrader Construction for two major projects on my home: A bathroom renovation and extensive repair following storm damage. My stress level following the terrible storm dropped tremendously when John said he would take on the job of repair. Excellent company. Excellent ethics.

John Schrader const. has done various projects for us including the complete construction of our lake home in 1995-1996. In 2014 & 2015 we had them redo the front exit porches & deck on the lake side of the home. The base of the deck is concrete & clay tiles faced with faux stone. The end result is strong, very usable, & quite attractive. We've been very pleased with the quality of workmanship & additionally John & each member of his crew have been talented craftsmen that are each hard workers and very pleasant & respectful of us and our home. From our experience, John Schrader is a top-notch builder. He has done significant work for us over a span of many years. John was the contractor for our first remodel in 2000. He converted our garage into a family room and built a new garage for us. In 2007, he designed and built a screened-in-porch. It was important to John to make the porch look like it had been built with the house. The roof lines were perfect. In 2010, we hired John and company to remodel the rest of our 125 year old home (2300 square feet). He and his crew are true professionals and their attention to detail in producing quality work is exceptional. Finally, John is pleasant, easy to work with and very creative. My husband and I highly recommend John Schrader for any construction project one would wish to have built.

John and his crew did several projects for us - construction on our new office building, remodel of old offices in our home into bedrooms, and also some handicap construction for our parents (handicap ramp, deck, etc.). They excel in many areas - they are very detailed, finish work is excellent, they clean up after themselves, and they are willing to work with you when you want to make revisions or changes - they were fantastic!!
