Inspire Kitchen and Bath Design

We did a major bathroom renovation the end of 2020 with Erika and her Inspire design team. After several design meetings where we laid out our vision our project began. Erika controlled the entire scheduling process and was present on site when needed to make sure that work progressed. About three months after start of work our vision became a reality. Working with Inspire was well worth the extra cost, so much so that we used Erika and Inspire for a kitchen renovation the end of 2021. Erika knows her business and was a pleasure to work with. The kitchen of our ‘60’s raised ranch was showing its age, so we began searching for designers. Inspire Kitchen & Bath came highly recommended. Erika Couture is a certified Kitchen & Bath Design Professional and has a thorough grasp of the business, so we were confident that we’d get a great result. Erika spent a great deal of time helping us develop a budget, and made sure we had an understanding of how all the different aspects of kitchen cabinets, counters, flooring, appliances, lighting and countertops all fit together – it’s like a giant jigsaw puzzle! She made practical and up to date recommendations and also helped steer us clear of some classic newbie mistakes! Erika developed a computer model of our new kitchen. She and her team were really patient with us as we asked hundreds of questions, tweaked and adjusted different features, and kept updating the design until we were sure it would be perfect. Demolition of our old kitchen was just getting underway when the pandemic hit, and like the song says – the Waiting is the Hardest Part. We taped our computer printout to the bare wall and held our breath…but the final product was worth the wait! The kitchen is open and spacious. Although the square footage is exactly the same, it feels like we have far more room than before. The layout is both practical and beautiful. If you are looking for a designer and project manager, you won’t go wrong with Inspire. They are a pleasure to work with.

We worked with Kerrie on not just a kitchen and half bath remodel, but a refresh of our entire first floor - flooring, paint, lighting. She was unflappable and a delight to work with - listening to our ideas/preferences and offering advice based on her depth of experience and eye for detail. The quality of the crew was excellent, their work well-coordinated, and all a pleasure to have in our home (our dogs were especially sad to see them finish). There were a few unexpected bumps in the road, but the true test of a professional is how they meet those challenges, and Kerrie came thru with flying colors. We're very happy with how everything turned out.

It was really great working with Erika on a kitchen remodel, she made an overwhelming project into a much more manageable one by narrowing the choices to what we wanted. Erika designed and supervised a new kitchen for our summer cottage. We asked for something functionally modern and laid out to provide maximum elbow room in a limited space. We also asked for something attractive that would blend in with our rustic 70 year old cottage. To complicate things further, the project had to be organized from a distance because I live in England most of the year, and then the final whammy came with Covid 19 restrictions at the time of installation. And Erika delivered! We met with Erika a couple of times in the summer of 2019 to discuss layout and requirements and to see samples in her showroom. After that everything was handled by email. Erika sourced materials, found appliances, supervised workmen ( a shout out to Rick Hamilton who did the carpentry) and kept us updated every step of the way. When travel restrictions miraculously let us travel to Vermont at the end of June 2020 we walked in to a perfect kitchen. It exceeded all our expectations and there was virtually no snag list - brilliant because we had to quarantine. I would hire Inspire again in a heartbeat.

We can’t say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Erika, Kerrie, and team. Our home remodel was extensive and complicated but Erika’s ideas, experience, and product knowledge made it all come together. We always felt like we could contact her anytime for advice and encouragement during our challenging project making a 1980 home look like a new build. We are completely pleased with the finished product and absolutely love our home!

This review is for inspire kitchen and Bath design. My husband and I had been talking about remodeling our kitchen and master bathroom for quite some time. The time came when we decided to go ahead and we started looking for designers/contractors. We called a few and ultimately without any reservations decided to go with inspire kitchen and bath design .We worked with Erika Couture which ended up being a great decision. Erika and Carrie had wonderful ideas they were always available to answer any questions. There attention to detail was so helpful. We were in contact with her every day throughout the whole process which was about eight weeks. Erika from inspire kitchen and Bath design took care of everything from start to finish ( kitchen remodel ,bath remodel and new flooring) My husband and I could not be happier with the end result my kitchen is more than I ever expected my bathroom is gorgeous .Erika delt with everything from picking out paint colors to helping us deal with some insurance issues due to water damage that occurred throughout the years. I will end by saying anybody thinking about doing any remodeling large or small I would highly recommend inspire kitchen and bath the whole team was so great to work with!! I can say I will miss seeing Erika.

I hired Erika to remodel two bathrooms -- both bathrooms were gutted, and then completely redone. And both were done on time as promised, and while I was away from the property. Right from the start, Erika produced computerized drawings that could be tweaked so it was relatively easy to visualize what was to be. She knows her products and has good relationships with local vendors. She takes the responsibility for ordering most of the product, and builds her fees into this. She had no issue if I purchased some items, either. Between the quality of the work done by her, her vetted contractors, and the quality of the products, my bathrooms have a wonderfully fresh and clean look. I'm extremely happy with the result. It wasn't cheap. But I do feel I got what I paid for. I would definitely use Erika again if I was going to do another remodel.

We had a fantastic experience working with Erika and the many professionals she brought in to transform our master bedroom suite. We waited years to take on this project because it was daunting to even consider all that needed to be done. Plus we’ve had some bad experiences with contractors in the past. This time we wanted the job done right so we called Erika. What a difference it made to have someone who really knew what she was doing running the show! We showed her a few pictures of bathrooms we liked from the internet and she took it from there, creating a beautiful space that we can’t wait to show off! The whole process was super smooth and pretty darn easy on our part. As far as the design process goes, Erika didn’t make any big decisions without consulting us, but she came up with great suggestions and color combinations to make it easy. The professionals Erika brought in were all friendly, punctual, and did great work! In the end we had an entirely new and stunning bathroom and new carpet and paint in the bedroom, walk-in closet, and dressing areas. We also added crown molding and a cool sliding barn door. We stayed very close to the original estimated budget, and the project was completed almost exactly on time. We are looking forward to bringing Erika back in a couple years to transform our kitchen.

Erika Couture helped me to completely update my kitchen, master bath and powder room. I had no clue where to start and Ericka made the process painless. She helped me pick cabinets, granite countertops and fixtures. She was a very hands-on professional using very good sub-contractors. She supervised every inch of my projects. Ericka to stay on budget, or advise me if we were going to do something over budget. All deadlines were met. And I am a very picky client. I am so happy with the final results. I can't say enough about her excellent work on my behalf.

Overall we were very satisfied with our kitchen remodel and half bathroom/laundry closet upgrade projects. Erika listened to our needs and recommended solutions that resolved the problems/bottlenecks we had with our existing kitchen layout. She was able to communicate well with us and keep us posted on overall progress throughout the day. We hired a couple of our own subcontractors, but we would recommend having all subcontractors contracted through Inspire to provide for easier coordination through a single interface. We love our new under cabinet LED lighting and slide-out drawers. We have plenty of power outlets in the island now, having none before. Granite countertops, tile backsplash, and cabinet crown moldings are beautiful--we have gotten many compliments when friends and family visit. Some suggestions made to Erika were to never allow less than 39" between range handle and opposite countertop (as we learned the hard way when we had to have the island moved out 3+" mid-construction). We discovered that the wood we chose for cabinets was rather soft and knicks easily, though it is beautiful. Of course, it is always a good idea to check out the work done each day so corrections can be made before it gets too far along and costly to fix, no matter who you use. The project took about 6-7 weeks, but we had a total tear-out of the kitchen and a couple of glitches along the way, which are to be expected and were rectified. We were able to stay close to budget and feel we received a good value for the investment we made. It was a pleasure working with Erika/Inspire, and we would definitely recommend her to others. We look forward to enjoying our new kitchen and bathroom/laundry closet for many years to come.

Erika helped us to remodel our master bathroom in our home in Vermont, but while we were living in Colorado temporarily. This required someone to really listen to what we wanted and then go find all of the vendors and craftspeople to complete the job. Erika kept us informed every step of the way, and we are really pleased with the final result. It is just what we were hoping for!!

Erika is very easy to work with and open to all your questions. She has a great selection of materials for every budget.

I am preparing my house to go on the market soon. Erika helped guide me on some cost effective upgrades that make my house look so much more appealing. Erica did a fantastic job collaborating with us in the design of our new kitchen. Our new "old " log home had significant challenges as nothing was square! Erica's attention to detail and expert suggestions led to an exceptional result! One wow moment was when a granite counter was installed . It involved having the stone cut precisely to fit along the natural line of a log wall. The stone had to be free form ( not epoxied to the wall) as log walls breathe with the seasons. It was cut perfectly-- following the natural curves and gaps of the log. Erica is so easy to work with.. She listened to our needs and desires, dovetailing my need for form with my husband's needs for function. My husband, a professional chef in the past, is so happy with how it turned out. It is now a beautiful and highly functional hub of our house! I think Erica enjoyed seeing it come together more than we did!! Cedar Ledge Builders, (our contractor) suggested we contact her, and I am so happy they did. I am glad to review her and highly recommend her services!

My husband and I keep telling each other we could not have done this renovation project (kitchen and bath) without Erika's expertise. It was the best decision we made! She was calm during all the stressful times and helped us navigate through all the various stages of renovation and keep us on task with deadlines. She came up with such perfect designs by listening to our ideas. Not an easy task with us and our 2 very strong personalities and sometimes opposing opinions. We have an old and small house. We hired Inspire Kitchen and Bath Design for a lakeside house complete renovation opening up our 1960's kitchen walls exposing lake views and modernizing our appliances and cabinets. Erika Couture the owner is up to date on the latest equipment and design. We would highly recommend her. Her partnership with A&N Stonework s (counter tops) is also an advantage as you can put the entire plan together easily. We went with a soapstone counter-top and ordered cabinets (Erika represents a line made in the USA-Missouri). Very happy with the outcome.
