I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with WDC. I was fortunate to work directly with the flagship showroom in Buckingam Township, PA, and the attention and care was apparent from my first visit. Whether it was layout, cabinet styling, appliance, countertop, or backsplash selection, the designer patiently helped throughout the entire process. The cabinets are of the highest quality, and the finish will last for years. Accommodating my style preferences and working within budget, William Draper Cabinetry delivered a well appointed kitchen that is the centerpiece of the home.

When it came time to replace the 1970s two-tone turquoise kitchen in our 200-year-old Bucks County farmhouse, we hired Bob Schultz of Draper DBS. The kitchen he designed for us is very traditional, with both painted and stained raised-panel cabinets, random-width hardwood floors, antique barn beams in the ceiling, and custom-made chandeliers. The peninsula is made of “character alder” and features a Bucks County Soapstone countertop and five-burner Wolf gas cooktop. The large farmhouse sink, also from Bucks County Soapstone, is carved from a single block of stone. Would we recommend Bob Schultz and Draper DBS to others considering a major kitchen remodeling project? Absolutely, though it’s important to note that Draper DBS is at the very top of the market in terms of quality… and price. We could have had a kitchen done for a great deal less. But we know that the quality and the craftsmanship would not be there. Something else worth noting: Draper DBS works closely with John Gemmi of Gemmi Construction. The people John employs are highly skilled and exceedingly personable. Equally important, after we signed the contract for our kitchen project, John gave us a detailed schedule of what would be done and when and how long the job would take. Even though a major change that hadn’t been included in the original estimate (raising the ceiling by a foot and installing five antique barn beams) took an unanticipated week, they completed the job right on schedule. Bottom Line: We now have a custom kitchen with superb “fit and finish.” The kind of kitchen that’s a joy to just look at… to say nothing of being a joy to cook in.

Our small kitchen dated back to the early 1980s. In addition to renovating the kitchen we had an opening created in the kitchen wall that faced the family room. This is now a passthrough with a countertop that extends into the family room. Storage cupboards were added at either end of the counter in the family room which was a brilliant addition. Debra Cohen at William Draper patiently worked us through every step of the way to help create spaces we never knew could BE created. We rid of the ceiling soffit which gave us more vertical space. Sink and dishwasher were repositioned to create more accessible space elsewhere. A pull out pantry (which I resisted for the longest time) is now my favorite new addition. My husband got his pull out trashcan (which I thought would take up precious needed space....it did not). Debra helped us through the intimidating process of choosing a new slab of granite. She was willing and available to consult on everything from backsplash, flooring, hardware, lighting and was tactfully honest which was great to count on. Debra was a knowledgable delight to work with. Our contractor thought so too and said he'd never been kept in the loop so much with a project. We could not be more delighted with our new space.

My first experience with William Draper was the installation of my beautiful kitchen cabinetry. Since that time, I have been planning a new bath and under no circumstances would I consider anything less than Cabinetry by William Draper. The beauty and lasting quality of the cabinetry is far superior than any I have seen and the professionalism and courtesy extended to me by Bob Schultz, their designer, goes far beyond my expectation. I now have a beautiful kitchen and bath that I am so proud of and I know I will enjoy for years to come. And a friendship that I know will continue as well. William Draper designed and built several large scale wall units for my home. The craftsmanship is superb. An extraordinary design. One of a kind pieces. They continue to look and work well since the day they were installed.

About thirty years ago we purchased our first piece of William Draper's furniture. That was only the beginning...twelve more pieces of his beautiful furniture followed. Throughout the years these shelves, armoires, tables, four-poster bed, kitchen hutches and more look as beautiful as the day we purchased them. Recently we wanted to add additional support to our four-poster bed and I decided to contact William Draper after all these years. To my surprise he called us to find out exactly what we needed, sent sketches and provided the supports for our bed at no cost to us. After owning one of Wm. Draper's night stands for almost 40 years, the top finish was damaged by a perfume spill. When I took the piece to get an estimate for repair, I was most pleased with the results. Within two weeks the top surface of my night stand had been replaced. The company also touched up the legs which had been battered by my vacuum cleaner over the years. All this was done at no charge. The original top also was returned to me. Needless, to say I was surprised; grateful; and, very impressed. Not only is the furniture top notch, but the service is as well. I would highly recommend Wm. Draper Cabinetmaker.

Bob Schultz redesigned our kitchen and helped with the family room redesign at the same time. His firm provided the custom cabinets as well as designing all aspects of the kitchen. The experience was outstanding - so many details that we would never have gotten right without his assistance. All of the tradespeople that he works with do an outstanding job.
