We are a full service interior design firm located in Downtown Greensboro, North Carolina. Our storefront is a color explosion of local art, quality NC-made upholstery, and one-of-a-kind vintage pieces. Our self-described aesthetic is a modern twist on southern style. Did we mention we love color? As principal designers of Vivid Interiors, Laura Mensch and Gina Hicks work independently and together to extract and deliver the most accurate interpretation of your vision. We believe: That a space should not only reflect the personality and characteristics of its inhabitants, but should also reveal tiny glimpses of their innermost souls. That the first rule of design is that the design rules are meant to be bent, warped, and broken. In taking risks—that is where the talent and magic happens. That is our gift. I know Gina Hicks of Vivid Interiors through her design work at The Guilford Building in downtown Greensboro. Gina worked on various projects in our 1927 high-rise building, and I have been very pleased with her design results. Most recently Gina helped us with a renovation of our communal conference room on the mezzanine level of the building. I am submitting photos of our "new" conference room so you can see that Gina knows how to put the "WOW" into a room. Also, Gina is an exemplary person. We hired Vivid to provide design guidance during a recent kitchen & bath renovation of our 1920's home. We were so pleased to work with both Laura & Gina, they made the whole process easier! They were very responsive when we had questions or if issues came up doing the renovations. They were always prepared for our meetings, bringing design ideas/examples and they really took the time to understand what we liked and so the selections/choices they offered were right on target. We decided towards the end of the project to "scope drift" (!) and add in our dining room and we were amazed at how quickly they came up with great choices for furniture, wall treatments, lighting and we were actually able to complete that room at the same time as the rest of the work.

After an initial consultation to review my goals for my guest bedroom renovation, the Vivid Interiors team presented me with multiple options for the overall feel of the room within a few weeks. After I chose the color scheme, they went to work on the additional details to provide a me with a warm and inviting space for my guests. They kept the minor details in mind, and in the end I felt like they had given me FAR more than I ever expected. I was thrilled with the final outcome. It was more beautiful than I could have imagined! They are a warm and friendly team, very professional and brilliant in interior design. They are the BEST!! And most definitely worth the money spent!
