Cheryl considers multiple perspectives: what works for her clients, the space, the budget, the planet, and the artisans. She is a consummate professional and communicator. We are thrilled with the multi-purpose office/family space Cheryl designed for us, and the updates she creatively designed for our children's rooms. Cheryl sense of color and light expanded and lifted the rooms and everyone's experience in them. She understands people, communicates with inquiry and clarity, and is a gifted designer.

Cheryl helped me with my condominium about 15 years ago and did a phenomenal job. I was pleased how she was able to add design and color to make my home comfortable as well as fashionable. I found her sense of color and ability to integrate what I had already had to be a great asset and help keep cost effective design. Its now 15 years later and I decided rather than move that I would reach out to Cheryl again. Cheryl understands the subtleties of design. Our farmhouse kitchen design was nearly complete when we asked for help with our colors. Cheryl suggested we select colors from the Delft tiles we wanted to use in the backsplash. With her guidance, we changed to contrasting colors that matched the tiles – dark blue for base cabinets, light gray for wall cabinets and a hint of gray wall paint. Cheryl’s color advice made our kitchen much more dramatic than the washed out colors we had picked. Cheryl’s handle on the nuances of what makes a kitchen sing included suggestions for flooring materials and color connecting woodwork and countertop. She recommended additional lighting we had not considered. Cheryl was very responsive to our questions. Despite the challenges we faced in combining three separate rooms, the project turned into a beautiful kitchen that is a pleasure to work in. Cheryl’s input brought together so many fine details we would have missed making it a joyful part of our home.

Cheryl brings the cool, sleek and natural, with the occasional quirky element, into her projects. To this day visitors to our midtown Manhattan apartment can't get over how open and light it is, but also how imbedded with eye-catching features and functions. This is in large part because Cheryl found ingenious ways to unlock these aspects with judiciously limited demolition, and maximum application of structures, textures and treatments. Her latest contribution was the overhaul of our kitchen with a kind of Scandinavian zen. We love this woman!

Cheryl is a superstar! She helped my husband and me put together our apartment on the upper Eastside. I had to work with her long distance as I was living in Las Vegas at the time. She made the whole process of design and moving a breeze. We not only had to make our interior structure beautiful but also had to buy a household of furniture. Cheryl is responsive, responsible, unintrusive, and a delight to work with. I wouldn’t do it again in a heartbeat. I owe her a lifetime of gratitude for Everything she did to help me and my husband. We aren’t easy clients but she always made us feel comfortable. She doesn’t Have an attitude which isn’t easy to find in NYC.

I first used Cheryl's services almost 10 years ago, when she helped mr decorate an apartment on Riverside Drive. After it was completed, I invited friends and neighbors in for a house warming, and my guests were so impressed with her work that they asked her to help with their own homes and even with the public spaces of the building. Since then, my mother and I have turned to Cheryl several times, most recently on a project that involved structural changes as well as decor decisions. We have also referred friends to her, all of whom have been more than satisfied. She combines a fine eye with a sensitivity to individual aesthetic preferences and budgets.
