My husband and I bought our first house together in August/2015,. After a couple of weeks we realized that we really needed some help with the interior decor. The first room we choose to be done by a professional was our dining room, and we couldn't be happier. My husband and I have different tastes and we had lots of ideas and we were concerned we wouldn't be able to find something that would please both of us. Valeria, the designer responsible for the project, was very good about listening and understanding both of our styles and the results were outstanding. Our next project is the home theater, and we will definitely give this and any other future project to Touie.

Our stone has been artfully and beautifully displayed in many of Touie Et Cie's projects. The owner and designer, Valeria Bressan works very closely with her clients to create a design that parallels their lifestyle and their individual aesthetics. After moving into our new home, my husband and I were constantly talking about redesigning the house. We wanted to add an entire new master suite, expand our current dining area, bring more light to the interior spaces, etc. However we didn't know where to start and didn't have a good understanding of what the entire process would look like. We contacted a few local firms but didn't have a good understanding where we were going, into until we decided to talk with Valeria. From the beginning she understood our needs and was very collaborative. She explained the entire process and connected us with other resources, who were a good fit for the project. She provided us so much guidance (even before being hired) and was very conscious of our time and budget. Valeria is very knowledgeable and truly takes the time to get to know you, your taste and lifestyle. As expected, we had a few surprises, but we were very impressive with Valeria’s responsiveness and ability to calmly address each one of the issues. She is a natural problem solver and an efficient communicator. She knows what you want and consistently provided creative solutions that guide you through decisions. Our project is located in Menlo Park, CA, and is almost complete. What we thought to be a just a “small project” for a house built in 1948, turned into a fairly large scale interior renovation project, but still we could not be more pleased with the process, and happier with the results. Valeria’s guidance, work and professionalism were remarkable. Whether she is providing a General Contractor recommendation, paint consultation, design, selecting material and finishes, or sourcing home furnishings, Valeria really strives to exceed client expectations. She is definitely a certain choice for any future projects, and we look forward to continuing working with her. We highly recommend Valeria to any project.

Valeria is a professional colleague and friend of mine. We worked side by side together at Anderson Brule Architects in San Jose California. We shared responsibilities on high end new construction residential projects. She was a joy to work next to and I looked forward to seeing her everyday. She definitely has the eye for beautiful interiors and furnishings, as well as the technical detail for interior architectural design and drawing packages. I worked with Valeria on several major interior home remodeling projects and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. She listened to my ideas and vision for each project, came up with a design plan, and guided me through the process from start to finish. Valeria's attention to detail and keen design sense made for an amazing outcome. With our first project, Valeria took a barely used storage room and made it into a reinvented pool room that our family enjoys all year long. Next, Valeria converted a plain, drab, built-in bookshelf into a beautiful and functional office space in our family room. Lastly, Valeria converted our outdated hall bathroom into a fabulous contemporary spa-like space. The bathroom is entirely new for a completely updated and functional space. I cannot say enough about my experience working with Valeria on all of our projects and how satisfied we are with the outcome.

It was a real pleasure working with Valeria on the exterior renovation of our home. Valeria selected fabulous materials and developed a beautiful color palette that truly enhanced the exterior. My husband and I have had the pleasure of working with Valeria on the design of our new baby rooms. We wanted a rich environment with a serene and relaxing atmosphere, but very practical with a soft sense of history. When we started the project we didn’t know we were having twins. Valeria immediately provided us a creative solution that was both practical and functional. She has a great ability to visualize and utilize space to its full advantage. We really liked the way she thinks about the spaces. She was very respectful about our budget and has done an exceptional work to keep us on track throughout the project. She has an exquisite sense of style and created a palette and design that works not only as a nursery room as well as a toddler-kids room. From the beginning one of our priorities was not to have to renovate the spaces as the kids grow up. Our babies’ rooms are so beautiful, functional and have the right amount of the details. We enjoyed the design process and the opportunity to collaborate and decide all the details to make the spaces the way we wanted. The Board of Directors of our Home Owners Association hired Valeria to design our outdoor pool space. Our community has 140 homes and the pool area is a critical gathering spot for residents. Our community has a Spanish / Mediterranean feel. Valeria was extremely helpful to the board. She came up with three different designs and price points. She helped answer questions regarding product quality and durability. Finally, she help space plan the area, so we gained the appropriate amount of seating / lounging. Overall, Valeria was a joy to work with. Her design has been enjoyed by all of the residents and when homes are being sold - the realtor is taking lots of pictures of the pool area.
