Totman Style

We chose to have Sharon up-grade and up-date our existing family residence on Point Dume. We were very pleased with the transformation as it definitely resulted in the improvement of organization, privacy and a much more inviting atmosphere in line with our tastes. Sharon brought continuity to our differing personal expressions so that our home became a wonderfully unique collage. This is where we plan to stay; Sharon deserves some credit for this.

I was introduced to Sharon Totman’s work while viewing one of her projects in Malibu. I was impressed with her ability to artfully work with a variety of styles, so when I purchased our family’s home we asked for her help. We wanted to express the mix of influences that came from exposure to different cities and cultures while performing on tour and our love of European antiques. Sharon’s ability to combine all the variations we threw at her resulted in a uniquely blended home that impressed and pleased us.

Being in the NY Fashion Industry for more than 4 decades, I have no shortage of choice when it comes to selecting any kind of designer. When I purchased a private get-away on Cape Cod I wanted to strip the interior from its Cape Cod Traditional boundaries. Sharon Totman came highly recommended and she more than understood my vision. Her artistic and bold approach to the project was welcomed and her highly skilled contractors proved capable of executing her design. Major structural changes opened up all the rooms to the ocean. Her innovative solutions to transform a dark and drab Cape Cod Traditional into a light contemporary home was quite impressive and became the talk of the area. Her recommended choices were always in excellent taste, high quality and value. If you want someone who will understand what you’re looking to accomplish, easy to work with, a real artist and visionary – Sharon would be the one, she is a designers Designer.

We have a deep family history in Hyannis Port; Sharon was able to respect this while adding a wonderfully peaceful and private atmosphere to our property. Her ability to combine the treasured past with our new and varying tastes is a unique and remarkable talent. We truly enjoyed working with her and are so happy she has decided to continue her work.

Totman Style interior decorator Sharon Totman exceeded our expectations! We were on a major time crunch to get our yoga studio up and running as a one-of-a-kind yoga studio and she did it!! Her attention to detail and creativity is the best I have seen in town. People/students/customers are constantly comenting on how beautiful, peaceful, creative and welcoming our studio feels and we know it is because of the amazing design work that was put into it by Totman Style. Everything from paint, furniture ,drapes, shelves, furniture placement, curtains etc. Sharon has the ability to look @ a project, & create a space that is unique to you. Definitely not a cookie cutter formula.

Sharon is truly an artist within the Interior Design Industry. She is a master of color selection and matching, blending new product with old. She transformed our entire home into our own personal oasis, were we can easily relax, unwind and entertain. Her ability to discern personal style, taste and make the most of it is unmatched. In short, she listens intently. Attention to detail seemed to just come naturally as if it were an innate part of her. It is no wonder she was one of the most sought after Interior Designers before she retired. We are so pleased to see she is back at it, we were honored to have her design our home and I am sure she will make many more feel the same way.
