Nely Quinonez, the founder of Tealfrosted, is a licensed Interior Designer based in New York City with over 15 years of experience in residential and commercial projects ranging in sizes and complexities. Her unique Design à La Carte approached is raved by her busy professional clients for whom she has designed homes and office spaces tailored to their specific needs.
She incorporates her knowledge of Feng Shui principals into her designs solutions with a fresh contemporary approach bringing added value to the design objective. Whether the goal is to furnish a new home, a test-fit for a new office space or a full home renovation, she's there to guide, design and deliver a beautiful space. Clients use words like amazing, resourceful, responsible, and artistic with a keen attention to details to describe her.
Her interest in design dates back to her childhood days where she was influenced by her mother, a successful fashion designer, and entrepreneur but it wasn't until her high school days that she became interested in modern interiors. Her thesis project, an award-winning Planetarium Museum, was exhibited in Fashion Institute of Technology Museum, NYC. From there she went on to work for the top award winning Architectural Firms in New York City taking part in many exciting commercial projects.
After many years, she left the corporate world to find the perfect family/work balance and launched Tealfrosted with this Design à La Carte service in mind.

Nely Quinonez holds a BFA in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York City. However, she believes that formal education provided the foundation to the real education of years in the field.
