When our living room project with Elizabeth with Teal Interior Design was completed, I really felt like we had created the type of space I was looking for. It was fun, functional (and durable) for my young children, within our proposed budget, and had personal touches that made it feel cozy. She was responsive, flexible, and listened to all my needs and concerns. I highly recommend them.

When I hit 40 and dispaired of my house ever looking "done", I went searching for an interior designer to work with and was surprised by the number of folks insisting they would have to redo everything from top to bottom, impose their will and generally control the process as opposed to me. Luckily, I found TEAL and Elizabeth O'Neal before at my wits end. Elizabeth was great about working with certain key pieces already in place but bringing in new items (and changing out a few) to complete rooms and give them a fresh new face. She gave clear advice and fun suggestions to the table, which I took more often than not, but also listened and responded to my own thoughts, so that the result is something much better than I could have achieved myself but still reflects me. I wouldn't go anywhere else and look forward to working with Elizabeth and TEAL in the future!

Angela and BuildEx collaborated on the Maida Vale Mediterranean house in Durham, NC in 2010. Angela was excellent to work with, and was in charge in most of the interior selection and coordination of the home. Because she specializes in tile, lighting and paint color selection and design, this house was an excellent project for her. She is dedicated, creative and passionate about customer satisfaction. Her work reflects her ability to take what a client has in mind and turn into a gorgeous reality--with her own twist. It has been a pleasure to work with Elizabeth O'Neal of Teal Interior Design. From our first meeting, Elizabeth understood the style and pallet I was hoping to achieve pulling together just the right colors and textures. Her abilities go far beyond decorating to an understanding of interior space - redesigning space to accommodate attractive storage, additional bookshelves, office space, and a workable laundry area. When challenged to completely gut and redesign our master bathroom and closet space, she was able to fulfill all our requests and we could not be more pleased with the outcome. My husband and I are impressed with Elizabeth as an accomplished interior designer, but also as an always professional and efficient businesswoman. Teal Interior Design is terrific on all levels!

Angela has assisted me over the past three years in my home with new furniture and recovering furniture, painting, floor coverings, closet design and construction, accessories and art work. Having worked with other designers in the past, I'm familiar with the process. Angela's work was absolutely wonderful! She is extremely talented, patient and always follows up. She has all the resources needed to make sure I was completely satisfied and comfortable with our final selections. I've referred many others to her and will continue to do so. Working with Elizabeth at Teal Interior Design has been such a tremendous help! The first time I worked with Elizabeth, we picked out paint colors for the entire house. Elizabeth really understood what I was looking for and within an hour, the colors for the entire house were done! She also made suggestions that helped the colors flow from one room to the next using natural colors in the stones and granite in our home. After working with Elizabeth for colors, we picked out rugs, artwork, colors for cabinets and window treatments. She has amazing style and is very respectful of your budget. I plan on working with Elizabeth for changes big and small in my home. She prevents the stress and hassle of decorating and makes it fun. I highly recommend her!

Angela was recommended to me by a friend after I expressed an interest in renovating our kitchen. My husband and I live in a townhouse with a very small but functional kitchen. The space was drab and we knew when we moved in, It was only a matter of time before we updated. I was a little nervous because I had never used an interior designer before; but after our first consultation with Angela, we knew we were in good hands. She was not only a delight to work with, but was extremely knowledgeable and so helpful in every way. She was very patient, answering all of my questions and created a beautiful design that made my kitchen the envy of my neighbors. Who knew what you could do with such a small area? There were so many choices when we did meet in the Kitchen and Bath showroom, you are overwhelmed. Angela was the exceptional professional and guided us to the right choices for our room. She made it fun, easy, and we are so happy with the end result. Of course, my husband, was more thrilled since we stayed within our allotted budget. In my opinion, Angela went way above 110%, making our experience a dream. You need the right professional to steer you through all the areas they have experience in and it is so worth it. Now I am considering doing some changes to our master bedroom, and Angela, I know will come up with some great ideas.
